Has Melissa Gorga Visited Teresa Giudice?

The 'RHONJ' star shares an update on her sister-in-law's life in prison.

It's been nearly three months since Teresa Giudice began her 15-month prison sentence for fraud—and her family is sharing an update on her life in a Danbury, Conn. prison facility. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star's supporters will be happy to learn that she's doing "very well."

While appearing on Good Day New York on Tuesday, Melissa Gorga shared that Teresa is doing "really well, really well. I think it's not easy being away from the children. I think that's the hardest part. There is a limited amount of free time. She's always on the phone with her mother and her children."

Still, Melissa reveals she hasn't visited her sister-in-law since her sentence began—but she says there is a good reason for it. "I think she's keeping her visits for her children," she says. "She's going to want every visit to be with her children."

But that doesn't mean Melissa has completely been out of touch with Teresa. "I've written her," she says. "She calls [my husband] Joe [Gorga]. She emails with Joe. There's limited free time so I expect her to go to her brother. But she's always on the phone with her mother and her children."

Melissa also shares that she's doing everything she can to help Joe, her mother-in-law and Joe and Teresa's children now that Teresa isn't at home. "I've seen them," she says. "They see my mother-in-law a lot. My mother-in-law helps out a lot. And I see my mother-in-law a lot. And I'm constantly saying, 'What can I do? [Who] can I drive? Where can I bring them?' But they keep saying they got it, they got it. Everybody's good."

Melissa appeared on the morning show to promote her new jewelry line, The Melissa Gorga Collection, which she'll debut on HSN.com on Thursday.
