Heather Dubrow's new home has been nearly two years in the making, but it sounds like The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member and her family will be able to move into the 20,000-square foot, eight-bedroom crib soon enough.
Heather shared an update on what she has previously dubbed #DubrowChateau on social media during the latest episode of her podcast Heather Dubrow's World. "I was just at the house yesterday for hours and hours and hours because they were telling me it wasn't going to be done until the end of March, and I said that was not acceptable," she said, after a caller inquired about her move-in date. "And so we are trying to move in March 1."
Since Heather and her husband Terry Dubrow broke ground on the new mansion in January 2014, the RHOC actress has kept us updated on its progress on social media. She has also revealed that the renovation includes a large kitchen, small beauty salon, and a Champagne doorbell, of course.
Obviously, Heather's going to want to show all of that off with an extravagant housewarming party when the remodeling is complete. The caller also asked what Heather has planned for this all-important inaugural shindig, and she revealed that she'd like to use the bash to kill two birds with one stone. "Terry and I are writing a book, and we're really excited about it. What I was sort of hoping is that we were gonna do our book launch party in our house, and I was thinking that would be kind of the first big party because it correlates to the right time in March," Heather said during her podcast.
Heather then asked the caller if he thought she should invite her fellow RHOC castmates to the soiree and film it, too. Heather unfortunately didn't drop any hints as to whether or not this is actually a possibility, but we can only hope that she celebrates her dream home by making this dream of ours come true.
