Gizelle Bryant Pledges to "Get to the Bottom" of Why Karen Huger Moved

The #RHOP pal doesn't hold back the shade when it comes to the crew's homes.

Real Housewives reunions are all about revelations, and this season's The Real Housewives of Potomac sit-down is no exception. In the first part alone, we got some major clarification on a much-talked-about subject this season: Karen Huger's move to Great Falls, Virginia.

The still-RHOP Grand Dame explained to Andy Cohen that she moved out of Potomac and into a new city in an effort to accommodate her ailing parents, who she hopes will move in with her one day. But just as Gizelle Bryant didn't really believe that reason then, she still isn't buying it much now. "It doesn’t make any sense to me. She could’ve just stayed where she was. So, I don’t know, I feel like I need to get to the bottom of it. I need to do a little FBI, a little Scooby-Doo action. Find the reason for the move," Gizelle recently told The Daily Dish. "There’s more to the story, I just don’t know what it is yet, because Karen has told, like, three versions of the reason why she moved. I really wanna know the truth."

The #RHOP ladies are just as confused as ever – and so is Andy.

As for Karen's new home, which the ladies got to witness in all its glory during this season's finale, well, Gizelle had some opinions on that, too. "I wasn’t expecting Karen’s home. It’s extremely big, kinda like her boobs, as big as her boobs. That’s how big her house is," Gizelle joked. "I really was thinking she was gonna downsize. And they didn’t."

Karen continuing to hold the title of Grand Dame of Potomac even though she no longer lives there has been another point of controversy this season. But Gizelle is actually backing her up. "Well, she will never be the Grand Dame of Great Falls. I just don’t like how that sounds. So I wanna continue to have Karen be the Grand Dame, just period. Yes, she’s earned that title," she said. "Karen is the epitome of old-school class, sophistication, and crazy. That is a Grand Dame. Yes. And I’m not gonna allow any of the other ladies to take it from her. I’ll make up other names for them."

That means the newest Potomac resident, Monique Samuels, will have to find another title, too. "No, no, no. I said, 'Class, style, and sophistication,'" Gizelle said. "Monique is missing a couple of those adjectives."

Given their intense beef this season of RHOP — and that last statement — you may be surprised to hear that Gizelle has been inside Monique's new Potomac home, and she thinks "it looks fabulous." "It’s great. She’s doing a lot of renovations to it. I think we’re gonna see some more fish tanks in the kitchen," Gizelle shared. "So I’ll wait and see. I’ll wait and see for the reveal of what she’s done. But it’s a beautiful property."

Despite those kind words, Gizelle said that if given the choice, she'd rather spend a night at Karen's abode because she feels like she's "a little safer there." "[Monique] might wait for me to fall asleep and then come to me with a butter knife, I don’t know," Gizelle joked. "I think, yeah, Karen’s."
