Kelly Bensimon Takes Social Media Break While Social Distancing

As the threat of the coronavirus outbreak continues to get more serious, people all over the world are doing their best to prepare. From stocking up on essentials to making a conscious effort to avoid large crowds, most are adjusting their daily lives to stay safe.

Kelly Bensimon, who recently took a trip to the Bahamas, shared her plans with her Instagram followers. The Real Housewives of New York City alum announced that she will be taking a break from social media to focus on her family.

“In light of the present state, I will not be posting on Instagram for a while,” she captioned a selfie from the Palm Beach International Airport. “This is a time for me to focus on my girls and my family. I am thinking of all of us, and you. Thank you for supporting me for so long. It means a lot, be careful and practice social distancing.” 

While on vacation, Kelly had previously said that she was on a “quarantine in luxury.” However, she also shared a photo from a tiki bar, so it does not seem as though she was actually participating in a true quarantine. 

Kelly joins a number of Bravolebrities who have opened up about social distancing in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Jennifer Aydin is staying at her home with her children, Southern Charm alum Landon Clements said she is on a “self-imposed” quarantine, and Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark are staying with their Vanderpump Rules castmates, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz while both couples quarantine.
