Lala Kent Comments on Seeing Sandoval Out with a “Tall Drink of Water on His Arm" at Events

 James Kennedy also shares if he feels Tom Sandoval "benefitted" in the wake of the Season 10 drama.

On Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, viewers have witnessed the former SURvers struggle to make amends in their friendship with Tom Sandoval following his tumultuous breakup with Ariana Madix last year. And while it has proven to be a difficult journey for them all, Lala Kent and James Kennedy are now revealing new insight into Sandoval’s personal life today, including their dynamics with him.

In the latest episode of Bravo's Hot Mic podcast (clip above), Lala and James sit down with host Alex Baskin to look back on Sandoval’s infidelity and if he “benefitted” from it, including in his dating life. During the discussion, James also shared an update on where he stands with his castmate.

Lala Kent opens up about Sandoval's dating life after Ariana breakup

James admits that “everyone, including Sandoval, benefitted, honestly" afterward, while Lala made some observations about Sandoval's love life today following the drama. 

"Every time we go to an event, he's got like a tall drink of water on his arm,” she shares. “I'm like, damn, you're really hot, welcome to the night, I guess." 

(These days, Sandoval is dating model Victoria Lee Robinson.)

When reflecting on Sandoval's drama, Lala and Alex commended the Schwartz and Sandy's co-owner for navigating through all the backlash from his wrongdoing. 

"I don’t know if I could’ve done it," Lala says, adding, "And that's why I don’t want to use the word respect … but I just don’t know had I made a mistake like that I could’ve shown my face the way he did."

Alex agrees with Lala's remarks before asking her and James if they think Sandoval "benefitted" from his mistake.

James Kennedy gives an update on his friendship with Tom Sandoval

When it was time for James to reveal where he and Sandoval currently stand in their friendship, the DJ explains on the Hot Mic podcast interview that he is cordial with his castmate, but they aren’t “buddies” like they were before.

“Yeah, we’ll say hi, and we’ll exchange convo for a little bit, you know, but nothing crazy,” James adds. “And I’m not hanging out with him or anything, we’re not texting, you know.”
