"We have a very close relationship with our younger cousins from CJ [Laurita], when he was a kid. Now he's not a kid; he's taller than me. Gabriel and Olivia, who are our younger cousins, we have a very very close relationship with them," Chris told the Daily Dish. "So I think we already know the uncle role enough. Don't say 'no' to anything. Let them have fun. Be the semi-bad influence. That's what we grew up with."
Now that Lauren and husband Vito Scalia are closer to becoming mom and dad, Albie is totally ready for the responsibility of being an uncle. And he knows that his sister and best pal are going to make for great parents. "We're all really, really excited for a lot of reasons. For me, the weirdest part about it is I can remember sitting back in college and talking to Vito and saying how we hope we're lifelong friends and our kids play together and stuff like that," the Manzo'd with Children brother said. "And now we're not really going to have much of a choice. So I think it's kind of funny how it all played out. He's gonna be an awesome dad and I think Lauren's going to make a really, really great mom. And I couldn't be more excited to see how it all plays out."
While Chris joked that with "the way things are going" in their personal lives, Lauren's kids will be about "15, 16 years older" than the Manzo boys' future children, Albie revealed he's more ready to settle down and start a family than his little brother. "I'm not even going to lie about it. I've always had a picture of my life where it's not all that dissimilar from the way we grew up," he said. "Which was a lot of cousins that are super close and being close in age is part of that. [Our cousin] Ashlee [Holmes] just had a kid and now you have Lauren and you have so many of our friends, it definitely kind of puts things into perspective for me, for sure."
