Melissa Gorga Shares an Update on Her New Envy Store Opening: "Damn Mother Nature"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member's newest boutique is opening a little later than planned.
2024 is shaping up to be a big year for Melissa Gorga even if it means delaying the opening date of her new boutique.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member just celebrated her 44th birthday and is in the process of opening yet another location of her clothing boutique, Envy by Melissa Gorga. Melissa announced in an Instagram post in January that she would be opening her third boutique, this time in Huntington on Long Island, New York. "I worked hard to be where I am and it was worth every second. I'm so grateful to everyone who has made my store a success," she wrote in the caption.
"There is nothing like the feeling of being my own boss," she added. "I talk to myself all day long. I push myself all day long. It's always a good time to push a little harder!"
But, Melissa is just experiencing a slight set back with the opening date of the newest Envy boutique.

Melissa Gorga on the Latest Envy Opening Date in Long Island
Melissa took to her Instagram feed, where she explained that she had to move the grand opening of Envy, just one day later, due to rain in the forecast. The store will now be opening on Sunday, March 24.
"Alright, listen, we are opening Sunday instead of Saturday, now," Melissa explained in the Instagram Reel, as seen above. "So the grand opening of Envy in Huntington will be on Sunday, March 24, just one day later. Mother nature had other plans, it's going to rain all day Saturday, and I don't want people waiting out in the rain, and coming in all wet, and the whole thing...I will see you Sunday!"
The new boutique, located at 389A New York Ave in Huntington, New York, will open at 10 a.m. and sell Melissa-approved clothing, as seen on Envy's website. Although the forecast might keep people inside, Melissa said that she will be at the opening, which is a major perk of going out in the weather.
Melissa Gorga on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14
Viewers will get to see more of Envy when RHONJ returns to Bravo for Season 14 in May. As seen in the trailer above, the season will show Melissa as she and husband, Joe Gorga, handle their daughter, Antonia Gorga, moving to Delaware for college, while Melissa attempts to navigate her own friendships among her cast members.
Per the press release, viewers can expect to see the following from Melissa and her family: "Melissa's world is completely changing as she and Joe send their daughter, Antonia, off to college. Focusing on her family, with her mother getting older, Melissa and her sisters debate over what is best for their mother moving forward. With her store, Envy, thriving, she explores what could be the boutique's next big move."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premieres on Bravo on Sunday, May 5 at 8/7c. Stream episodes the next day on Peacock.
