UPDATE (August 13, 9:20 a.m.): On Thursday (August 12), Porsha offered an update on how PJ is recovering after having her tonsils and adenoids removed.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"Baby girl is doing much better!" Porsha shared on Instagram. "Thank you for all the love!! Baby [PJ] is back to eating well and drinking full cups of fluid every other hour. God is good! No more sleep apnea!" She added, "Brand New PoohBear" and "ByeBye Tonsils and Adenoids."

In addition to the delicious-looking and beautifully-designed fruit basket, PJ has been eating some tasty treats while recovering, as was shared on her Instagram days ago. "It’s the eating lemon pepper chicken wings when the pains meds kick in for me!" a moment of PJ in the hospital was captioned (which you can check out here).

The original story continues below.

Porsha Williams is feeling thankful following daughter Pilar Jhena McKinley's recent medical procedure.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom recently shared on Instagram that 2-year-old PJ was in the hospital after having her tonsils and adenoids removed. "I want to take a moment and thank God for [my daughter's] continued healing after having her tonsils [and] adenoids removed. This is such a hard [recovery] for [new] parents to watch but I remain calm in trusting God," Porsha wrote in a post on Instagram on August 10. "Lil [PJ] is so strong and she has been able to weather the ups and downs of this recovery like a lil champ."

Porsha also noted in her post, "I can’t help but want to also pray for the many other parents of children who were at her hospital I pray [God's] angels continue to watch over those babies and that they have a full recovery!"

She ended the post by showing gratitude for all of the love and support they have received before giving an update on how PJ is doing following her surgery. "Thank you to all family and friends who have text[ed] and sent flowers. I love you and it is much appreciated!" Porsha shared. "[PJ] is still kinda in the thick of it after a week in hospital but she’s doing much, much better. If you have been through this surgery before you know toddlers can be a lil stubborn but with love and encouragement they make it through. Love you lil pooh bear @pilarjhena."

On Instagram, Porsha also included several photos and videos of how PJ is passing the time while recovering in the hospital, including snacking on apple juice and apple sauce, playing with stuffed animals, and decorating her mom's nails with stickers. She also got in some adorable naps with her mom, dad Dennis McKinley, and her grandma, Porsha's mom Diane.

Many members of Porsha's Bravo family shared their warmest wishes for PJ in the comments section of the post, including Eboni K. Williams, Margaret Josephs, Mercedes "MJ" Javid, and RHOA alum Shamari DeVoe.

Prior to her surgery, PJ seemed to be having a wonderful and active summer otherwise, filled with beachy days with her mom and travel time with Porsha's fiancé Simon Guobadia.

Porsha also marked another memorable moment with PJ recently as she brought her daughter with her on her visit to the new location of her family's non-profit organization, Hosea Helps, in July.

Get well soon, PJ!
