Did the Extended Vanderpump Rules Reunion Reveal What Really Happened at Coachella with Raquel Leviss?

The events of Coachella 2022 have already been a topic of conversation on Vanderpump Rules Season 10, but the music festival once again came up during Part 1 of the reunion’s Pumped Up Edition episode — and this time, it wasn’t Raquel Leviss and Tom Schwartz at the center of the chat, but Raquel and Tom Sandoval.

Raquel and Schwartz, as fans may recall, were previously subject to rumors that they had made out at Coachella last year, but Schwartz set the record straight on Episode 7, explaining that Raquel had actually kissed one of Brock Davies’ friends, Joey. 

Now, according to Ariana Madix and Scheana Shay, there’s more to the story — or more accurately, an entirely different story. It came out at the reunion when Ariana was discussing Sandoval and Raquel’s affair and she accused her ex of “plant[ing] the seed” for a hookup between the two “in the hot tub at f-cking Coachella.”

Scheana explained further as part of an unaired clip from the Season 10 finale. Speaking to Ariana about Raquel and Sandoval, she said, “Apparently in April, [Raquel] told this person that at Coachella, after you went to sleep, they were in the hot tub, he made a comment to her and was like, ‘So you know Ariana and I are, like, open, right?’ and that he started coming on to her at f-cking Coachella.”

Ariana responded to note “that has never been the case, ever” before the episode returned to the reunion. There, Sandoval denied the whole thing. More specifically, he asked Scheana, “What are you talking about? That is bullsh-t.”

Scheana then turned to host Andy Cohen to request that he ask Raquel about the story when it’s her turn to join the group. 

Sandoval, however, continued to shut down the notion that there was any truth to the story. “I did not say that,” he told Scheana, to which she responded, “Then why did Raquel repeat that to someone last April?”

Sandoval said Raquel “did not repeat that,” but after Ariana asked how he’d know whether or not she repeated something, he didn’t answer, and the group moved on to a new topic of discussion.

The Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion will continue with Parts 2 and 3 on Wednesdays at 9/8c. Extended Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up Edition episodes will be available to stream on Peacock one day after the original reunion episodes air. The supersized “Secrets Revealed” episode will be available to stream on Thursday, June 15.
