Reza Farahan Just Shared a Major Update on His Marriage to Adam Neely

Time flies when you’re in love, and that is definitely the case for Reza Farahan and Adam Neely. 

It’s been several years since the pair shared their wedding with the world back on Season 5 of Shahs of Sunset, and all these years later, they are still going strong and celebrating all life has to offer by each other’s side.

As Reza celebrated turning 50 this month, he posted to Instagram about the milestone birthday and shouted out his longtime love in the process. “August 5, 1973 didn’t know that 50 would feel this good. Love you [Adam],” Reza shared alongside a smiling selfie, prompting Adam to comment, “I [heart] my shohar [husband].”

Adam also posted a birthday tribute to Reza on Instagram, writing, “Happy birthday to my other half. [Fifty] has never looked so good. I’m lucky to share my life with you.”

The pair have never been shy to reveal all about their relationship. Previously, The Daily Dish spoke with Reza about his marriage to Adam and he told us the lessons he’s learned about love and commitment from their relationship.

“The biggest thing I’ve learned about love, which has been a big life lesson for me because I’m all-or-nothing, is ‘slow and steady wins the race.’ Small investments in your marriage pay off huge dividends. It’s not about these grand gestures, it’s about small, little things over time. Doing the right thing constantly, being good constantly add up. It’s not like a one-and-done. I’m more instant gratification. I want to do a big thing, and I’ve learned that when it comes to love and marriage, it’s like putting pennies into this gigantic piggy bank,” Reza said. “And after a long time, then you reap the benefit.”

Since it is Reza’s birthday season, in the same The Daily Dish interview from 2020, he also shared how astrology plays a role in how he navigates his relationship with Adam and vice versa. 

“And everything about Leo [Reza’s astrological sign] is… it’s a lot more out-there. The thing I love about Adam is that he’s so earthy and grounded. He loves nature, he composts, he helps the butterfly population by raising Monarch butterflies. He’s so loving and caring, and all about the opposite of what runs me — and it helps me to see and appreciate the world in a different way,” he shared. “And I think, for Adam, it’s probably the same thing on the flip side, because we’re so different. I show him, and he experiences a different world because of me. I think for us, opposites do attract.”
