Stephanie Hollman’s Son and Dog Went to the Emergency Room
The Real Housewives of Dallas mom is feeling "so grateful" for their recovery.
Stephanie Hollman is opening up about her son and dog's recent medical emergencies. The Real Housewives of Dallas mom recently shared a post on Instagram about her son, Chance, and dog, Biscuit, who were both in the emergency room after an incident occurred between Biscuit and another dog.
"Double ER visit tonight for Chance and Biscuit," Stephanie wrote in the caption of her March 7 post, alongside a photo of Chance in the hospital as well as a photo of Biscuit. She went on to explain what had taken place, and why both her son and dog required medical attention. "Chance jumped in the middle of a large dog attacking Biscuit and pried the dogs jaws open to save Biscuit's life. Chance walked away with puncture wounds on his hand and Biscuit is in the ER having surgery at the moment. Extremely stressful evening, but so grateful they are both safe."
Several members of the Bravo family reached out in the comments to show support for Stephanie and her family. "That is so scary!! Chance is such a brave Hero! Sending prayers and love to both for a speedy recovery," wrote The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Margaret Josephs. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Tamra Judge also sent her well wishes, writing, "Oh no. I'm so sorry. What a brave boy you have. Get better soon," while The Real Housewives of Potomac's Ashley Darby also commented, "Oh my goodness! What an incredible young man!"
The RHOD mama, who has two boys, Chance and Cruz, with husband Travis Hollman, also shared an update on Chance and Biscuit. Fortunately, both her son and pup were on the mend.
"Thank you guys so much for your prayers and kind messages," Stephanie wrote in the caption of her post, which featured a sweet photo of Chance and Biscuit together at home. She went on to add, "Chance is doing good and his hand is healing, and Biscuit was able to get his wounds taken care of and stitched up last night. He will be sporting a cone for a little bit while he heals."
