The Real Housewives of Miami cast member went public with her beau, who is a son of retired NBA legend Michael Jordan, back in January 2023 (though they were linked together a few months before that), but the two are already sparking engagement rumors for one key reason.

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s Response to Engagement Rumors
After Larsa was spotted wearing a sparkler on her left ring finger, Marcus told TMZ that the two were “looking for a location” for their wedding.
Though Marcus’ comment got the rumor mill churning about a potential engagement for the pair, Marcus and Larsa took to their podcast about a week later to clear up the speculation.
“I think I responded in a cheeky way,” Marcus said about why he made the comment in the first place. “I told them we’re looking for a location and that it’s in the works.”
Larsa then confirmed her status with Marcus.
“I had a hundred calls and text messages of people congratulating us and I was like, ‘I’m so excited’ — but no, we’re not engaged,” she added on the podcast.
Larsa poked fun at her boyfriend’s comment on Instagram when she shared a photo of the two and captioned the shot, “It’s in the works.”

Larsa also had an explanation for the diamond ring she’s been sporting lately. She said it’s a “promise ring” that Marcus gave her.
“I think it’s cute,” she added.
Though the two aren’t officially engaged yet, they are making plans to spend their lives together. Marcus wasn’t fibbing when he told TMZ that he’s been talking about potential wedding venue locations with the RHOM cast member.
“Not necessarily putting a lot of emphasis or priority on where or when, but we’ve definitely been discussing locations and time of year, and so I felt like that was a good response,” he said, while Larsa added that they definitely want a “destination wedding.”
While Larsa will be wearing her promise ring in the meantime, Marcus teased that he will be buying her an impressive engagement ring in the future.
“I feel like it’s going to be massive for sure,” he said after Larsa noted that she didn’t need a “huge” ring. “I feel like I’ve got good taste, so let Marcus James drive this train, OK.”
