RHONY Season 14 Cast Member Ubah Hassan Already Made Friends with This Housewife

When she’s not modeling or doing charity work, you can find RHONY’s Ubah Hassan selling... hot sauce?!

Following the epic cast reveal for The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14 during BravoCon 2022, fans may have started to look for some information about the seven new additions.

How to Watch

One of the cast members, model Ubah Hassan, has ties to a cast member of The Real Housewives of Dubai, and she operates a very unique business. (Hint: It's hot.) Get to know the Season 14 newbie below!

Her career

The Season 14 cast member is a model and a philanthropist. Ubah has modeled for brands including Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Rachel Roy, and Oscar de la Renta, to name a few.

In addition to her modeling and her charity work, Ubah also has a hot sauce business. She’s the founder of Ubah Hot, which made Oprah Winfrey’s list of Favorite Things in 2021.

Ubah Hot currently offers three gemstone-inspired flavors: Fresno Ruby (mild), Serrano Emerald (medium), and Yellow Tanzanite Habanero (hot).

The RHONY cast member was inspired to create the business when she was working as a model and wanted to add a punch of flavor to otherwise dull foods.

Her home life

Along with her dad and her brother, the Somalian model fled Kenya when she was a child. Ubah ultimately moved to Canada, where she was discovered by a photographer.

Ubah later signed with a New York–based modeling agency, and she now lives in the Big Apple. The Ubah Hot creator is not married, nor are her castmates Brynn Whitfield and Jenna Lyons.

Though she has yet to officially make her RHONY debut, Ubah has already bonded with another Bravolebrity: RHODubai’s Chanel Ayan. On October 18, Ubah shared several photos on Instagram of her getting lunch with Ayan. The two likely had plenty to talk about as Real Housewives cast members who are also supermodels with Somali backgrounds (Ayan is from Kenya, but she is Ethiopian and Somali).

“Probably one of the best lunch[es] this year. [Chanel Ayan] you’re the most supportive kindest human being. Thank you for the pep-talk and the unconditional support,” Ubah wrote in the caption, along with a heart face emoji.

What's next

Ubah’s place in the Season 14 cast has been confirmed, and production is set to begin in the fall of 2022. The next season of RHONY is expected to premiere in 2023.
