Gizelle Bryant Sets the Record Straight on Rumors She Dated Cynthia Bailey’s Ex, Peter Thomas
The word on the street is that the RHOP cast member and the RHOA ex-husband dated. Here’s the truth.
Back when The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Season 7 trailer dropped, one of the buzzy moments was Gizelle Bryant being asked about rumors concerning her dating The Real Housewives of Atlanta ex-husband Peter Thomas (clip above). Well, Gizelle is here to clear up all that speculation.
“I’ve known Peter for years. Peter comes around the group. I didn’t bring him around the group, someone else did. No, Peter and I have never dated, will not date. I think he’s a great guy, but not for me,” she shared with E! News. She shared that while they have known each other for many years, “Peter is an absolute no” because she loves Cynthia Bailey.
She reiterated this fact when speaking to Page Six as well. “I know Cynthia. I love Cynthia. I went to Cynthia’s wedding to Mike [Hill]. So this was just, like, weird,” she told the publication, adding that while Peter’s ex, Cynthia, expressed her support for whatever Gizelle decides to do with her dating life, Gizelle wanted her friend to know, “I’m not dating Peter.”
For the record, she noted that she is single and shared this message about her and Peter when speaking to Page Six: “You know, Peter Thomas is good TV. Let’s just start there. I’ve known Peter for a very long time. But I’ve never dated him, never kissed him, never held his hand. I will not be dating him. Peter and I are just friends.”
ICYMI: Peter already popped up in the Season 7 premiere of RHOP, which aired on October 9, when he met up with Dr. Wendy Osefo about the possibility of working together on a lounge.
