Jax Taylor Reveals What He Was Thinking During Scheana and Shay's Emotional Reunion Moment

The tone of the Vanderpump Rules Season 5 reunion definitely shifted when Scheana Shay and Mike Shay sat down to confront the issues that led to the dissolution of their marriage. Their pals mostly stayed out of their emotional and teary conversation and let the duo hash out their issues. And now we know what Jax Taylor was thinking while it was all going on.

"To be honest, I just felt sad for both of them it was a very tough time," Jax wrote on Twitter. "I mean a lot of history and very emotional, both great people."

As for why the group opted to keep mostly quiet during the conversation, Jax shared that "it was about them, I think we kinda just felt out of place, was between them so it was hard. And very emotional I think all around."

Jax's statements mirror those Katie Maloney-Schwartz shared with The Daily Dish back in March. "None of us knew what to expect. He totally cut himself off from all of us and in some ways understandably. So mostly we wanted Scheana and Shay to have the floor and to talk and work it out. So we all just kind of sat there," she said at the time. "I think both of them had some hard time articulating some things, but it was definitely the most quiet ... But ultimately it was good but that was really tense moment."

As for Scheana, she reflected on the reunion on social media, revealing on Twitter that she was definitely feeling a lot of emotions on Monday night, when Part 3 aired. "Just had a full blown panic attack. Ugh. Tonight is stressing me the F out!!!!" she wrote.

She added on Instagram that she was thankful to have her friends' support that day. "Part 3 of the reunion was one of the hardest things I've ever filmed on #PumpRules but I am so thankful to have some really amazing friends by my side."
