Shep Rose Is "Checking Things Off the Bucket List" With Some Wild Company
The Southern Charm cast member shared photos from a trip that let him come face-to-face with some unexpected new pals.
Shep Rose and his Southern Charm pals have gotten up to some wild times, but not nearly as wild as Shep's latest adventures. The Charleston bachelor recently shared a peek inside his visit to the San Antonio Zoo. And by the time he left, he could confidently say that he was: "checking things off the bucket list."

Shep Rose gets a "behind-the-scenes" tour of the San Antonio Zoo
To caption his December 17 Instagram post, Shep wrote: "Got treated to an amazing behind the scenes afternoon at the [San Antonio Zoo.] It’s An outstanding zoo y’all. Got to meet all sort of animals up close. Especially excited for the sloth and turtle."
So, what were the MVPs of the zoo like in the flesh? He said, "They’re so chill. We should all channel our inner sloth." And those aren't the only creatures Shep got up close and personal with. "I now can say I’ve pet a rhinoceros and fed a hippo and a giraffe," he reported. "Just checking things off the bucket list."
Shep's photos showed him doing all of the above, plus another, more scaly activity. "You pet a snake!!!!" a follower wrote. Shep jokingly responded: "Under protest. They made me. I was very uncomfortable about it."
Shep Rose's Plans for Christmas 2023
In his Instagram Stories, Shep shared more updates from his trip to Texas. While in the Lone Star State, he ate at Bootleg Chicken, which he deemed to be "a must when visiting." He also shared a snap from an upscale dinner out with friends. "Fancy Dallas supper with friends on my last night in Texas," he wrote, tagging Regines Lounge. "Hilton Head bound tomorrow for [Christmas] with the fam. What a great trip."
Shep Rose Catches Up With Cameran Eubanks
In addition to meeting up with his Texas friends, Shep recently caught up with Southern Charm alum Cameran Eubanks Wimberly.
"Scheduled a lunch today with my old friend [Cam]. [It] had been a long time. Like pre-Covid we figured[,]" Shep captioned an October 17 Instagram post. "And as luck would have it [Cam's daughter] little Palmer had a teacher work day so it was the three of us."
Cameran's little one not only got to enjoy lunch with Shep, but also got a special gift from him. "[It's] her birthday next month so we went shopping for a present after lunch," Shep shared, showing the ornament he gifted Palmer. "I always liked Xmas ornaments as a present [because] it’s a nice reminder of the gift once a year."
