Taylor Ann Green Shares Her Backyard Refresh: "Time to Call in Reinforcements"
The Southern Charm-er decided to tidy up her outdoor space just in time for spring.
Taylor Ann Green is breathing new life into her outdoor space.
After returning home from her Jamaican getaway, the Southern Charm cast member decided to do a bit of spring cleaning. She turned her direction toward her condo’s backyard, which took a slight beating during the cold weather months.
“Between a fall storm shattering my glass table and winter killing everything outside… it was time to call in reinforcements,” she captioned a March 21 Instagram Story.

Taylor Ann Green shares a backyard update
The video showed the Island Floral Design team hard at work in Taylor’s backyard, which was completely covered with dead leaves. One of the team members was seen peeling the outdoor rug off the concrete patio while the other began picking up twigs where the dining table used to be. Taylor’s adorable dog, Penelope, also made a brief cameo as the clean-up began.
"Only the best," she wrote in the story, which tagged Island Floral Design.
Taylor Ann Green shows off her home's outdoor space
Taylor spoke about her South Carolina home in Southern Charm Season 8, confirming she had purchased a “little condo when [she] moved down to Charleston.” Several months after the Season 8 premiere, Taylor took to Instagram to share a look at her home’s outdoor space and its stunning transformation.
She posted a “before” photo of the relatively bare yard littered with leaves from the surrounding trees. It was clear the area needed a bit of love, so she called up Island Floral Design boss Kevin Ferrin, who helped transform the yard into a cute, cozy space.
Kevin removed the leaves from the yard, spruced the patio, and planted a few shrubs. The “after” shots highlighted Taylor’s outdoor dining area, which included a glass round table, metal gray chairs, an aqua-blue rug, and a matching patio umbrella.
“It has been a little bit of a project,” Taylor wrote in the 2022 Instagram Story, which tagged Kevin and his gardening company. “I love it, and it makes it so much more exciting for fall. The weather’s cooled down, I’m gonna be really thrilled to be using the backyard a lot more often… Now is the time to get your yard looking right! Let plants root, etc.”

Taylor provided the backyard update just a week after heading to the Caribbean with Gaston Rojas, a fellow Charlestonian she began dating last year. The former orthodontics assistant said she met the MLB-certified agent in the summer of 2023, after her messy breakup with Southern Charm OG Shep Rose.
“I am seeing somebody. I am currently dating, so things are going really well,” she said in a December 2023 interview with The Daily Dish. ”I feel very happy and confident. It’s a good feeling to have… I’m just looking for a best friend — somebody to do life with, laugh, have a good time [with], and don’t take life too seriously. Each day should be just a gift. That’s what I wanted, and just share it with somebody.”
