Teresa Giudice takes a shine to the finer things in life — and her jewelry collection is no exception. Among The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member's most precious baubles is her engagement ring from her husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas. In October 2021, the diamond sparkler became hers after an epic proposal in Greece, and ever since, we've been excited for every glimpse we get of that hefty rock.
Of course, this isn't the first engagement ring we've seen on the mother of four's finger. Before she married Louie in August 2020, she was married to Joe Giudice — and the ring she got from her first husband was no small stone.

On October 19, 2021 Louie (who had been dating Teresa since July 2020) popped the question while the couple was on vacation in Greece. Louie got down on bended knee on the beach, where the romantic decor included scattered rose petals, candles, and a giant sign that said Marry Me. In his hands: a dazzling ring with a gigantic oval stone, as well as a thick silver band that was studded with diamonds.
At the time, Page Six consulted an expert jeweler who guessed the ring's center stone was approximately eight carats, and the entire ring could be worth up to $300,000, depending on the quality of the diamond. Another jeweler estimated the ring was 10 carats and worth up to $1 million.
At their wedding, she added a diamond band to the set.
Why Louie Ruelas Picked an Oval Diamond for Teresa Giudice's Ring
Louie may have had a little hint that Teresa wanted an oval-cut ring.
Just prior to their engagement, the couple appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and the topic of a possible future engagement came up.
"What cut of diamond is Teresa's favorite for an engagement right?" Andy Cohen asked Louie, listing several options. Louie incorrectly guessed that Teresa might want a pear-shaped jewel, but she clarified that she'd prefer an oval: "A pear — you eat it. An oval is what I want to wear on my finger," she said.
"Louie, you better get that right!" Andy added at the time. And he did!
Why Louie Ruelas Wasn't Wearing His Wedding Ring Recently
In January, Teresa took her Instagram Stories to share a peek at a day in the life of her and her husband. The pair were relaxing after a workout, and Teresa pointed out Louie wasn't wearing his wedding band on his finger.
Though it's common not to wear jewelry while working out, Louie actually was wearing his ring — just not on his finger.
"Look where Louie puts his wedding band as he's working out," Teresa shared in the Instagram video as she zoomed into her hubby's shoes. On his right sneaker, the wedding ring was looped in through his shoelace. Awww.
"Babe, that's a smart idea," Teresa joked.
Teresa Giudice's first engagement ring from Joe Giudice
Teresa married her first husband, Joe, in October 1999 after being childhood friends. In 2012, she sported an engagement ring with round center stone flanked by tapered baguettes, and paired it with a diamond-studded wedding band.
In 2018, she was spotted with an ungraded version of the ring, with both the center and flanking diamonds in settings with smaller diamonds.
In September 2020, the couple finalized their divorce after more than two decades of marriage.
