Teresa Giudice Reacts to Joe Gorga’s “Childish” Instagram Posts During Her Wedding
Melissa Gorga also addresses the posts on The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show.
Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga didn’t attend Teresa Giudice and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ wedding as shown on The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Gets Married special on May 23, but social media posts the two of them shared, which alluded to their absence, did end up making an appearance.
Louie reacted in real time and called the posts “f-cked up” and “maddening.” Now, the Garden State ladies are weighing in — including Teresa herself.
“Of course that was hurtful,” she said on Episode 16 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show Season 13, which you can watch above. “That’s so childish. I would never do that.”
Sitting alongside Teresa was Dolores Catania, who noted, “I don’t think the post was necessary,” followed by, “Now let’s move on.”
Dolores also said that Joe and Melissa likely only shared the posts because they were “hurting.”
“They were not hurting,” Teresa responded with a laugh, before describing one of the videos her brother and sister-in-law shared. “They were dancing and saying what a great time they [were] having.”
Dolores, however, argued, “When you have to prove something like that, then maybe you are. You’re trying to cover up how you feel.”
Weighing in alongside Jennifer Fessler, Jackie Goldschneider agreed with Dolores. “They didn’t need to [share the posts], but I could see their pain,” she explained. “You do that from pain. That’s not from a place of celebrating.”
Margaret Josephs shared a similar sentiment. “I think it was just hard. It’s sad,” she said. “I’m sure Teresa felt sad also.”
Melissa, for her part, gave the posts some context by pointing out, “It was like the night before the wedding that they [were] posted.”
What’s more, “Joe and I spent the day alone together that day, and he was really sad. Then my family called and they were all having a backyard barbecue party and just trying to show him, ‘We’re your family. You have family.’”
