Porsha Williams Confirms She's Pregnant!
The RHOA radio host is expecting her first child.
Oh, baby! Porsha Williams has confirmed that she's pregnant. The Real Housewives of Atlanta radio host shared that she's expecting a little bundle of joy with boyfriend, Dennis McKinley, she confirmed to PEOPLE. She teases even more about the big news in the video above!
“The thought of me getting that blessing after praying for it for so long and getting that blessing with someone who is just as excited as me — it’s Dennis’ first child, just like me — and it’s something we’ve both always wanted … It’s like a dream come true,” she told the publication, noting that the good news comes after she experienced a miscarriage six years ago as well as a number of other medical problems.
She added on Instagram, "I am happy, healthy... and pregnant! #BabyMckinley."
Porsha has long been ready to add mom to her list of responsibilities, as she explained to The Daily Dish in 2017. "I'm ready to become a mom because I feel like it's just time. I've been through a lot and family has always been first for me," she said at the time. "It's always been something that I've dreamt about and I've always wanted. I just feel like I have a lot to give and why not do it while I can and while I've prepared for it. It's a conscious decision for me to not have had a child up until this point and so I'm actually planning for a child."
This is the first child for Porsha and her boyfriend. Porsha, in the past, has been open about her journey to find love during her tenure on RHOA. She was previously married to former football pro Kordell Stewart for two years until 2013.
When Porsha recently shared an update on her love life, in the video clip above, she did note that things were looking serious for her in the romance department, which fans will get to see in the upcoming Season 11 of RHOA. And, yes, she did even drop the words "wedding" and "bells," even if she "didn't want to tell too much" at the time about the lucky man in her life.
