Vicki Gunvalson's New Book Is a Best-Seller
The OG of the OC scores with her new tome on financial advice for women.
It's a feat not many people can achieve. But The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is a now a bestselling author for her book Letís Talk Money: Women's Guide to a Lifetime of Wealth.
She revealed the news on her social media accounts. "Woo Hoo!!! We just hit #1 on Amazon!! SUPER thanks to all of our friends and supporters for helping us make this happen. We're also #1 on 'hot new releases' and #1 on 'most wished for' in our categories. I'm truly overjoyed and this wouldn't have been possible without your support and the great team we have, who tirelessly helped push this book to the top. ?#?WooHoo?," she wrote on Facebook.
The book, which she co-wrote Dennis Postema, offers advice to women on how to take care of their finances. Postema has previously penned several other books on how to be fiscally responsible, while Vicky also co-wrote the book More Than a Housewife back in 2009.
Vicki thanked her Bravo pal Andy Cohen for supporting the book's release. "Last Monday my co-author Dennis M. Postema was with me when I appeared on @Andy's @BravoWWHL. @Andy was so gracious and held up a copy of the book. Dennis told me afterwards that Andy Cohen is like Oprah Winfrey with great insight. Dennis said that all of you would drive this book to #1 by week's end. He was right! I had no idea. I have never had a #1 book before! I am so grateful to all of you, Dennis, his team and mine. #WooHoo."
And as a "thank you" to her fans, she even shared photos of the readers who went out and purchased the book on her Facebook page.
