Rosé Vodka Is Here... and Ready to Get You Three Times Drunker

Hey, do you like vodka? Do you like rosé? We're going to guess the answer is yes to both. So you'll enjoy this news.

Bay Area craft distillery Hangar 1 has debuted Rosé Vodka, a 60-proof spirit that will probably get more than a few people in trouble if they try to drink it like they're accustomed to drinking regular rosé — at a reasonably fast clip, and in copious amounts. (We didn't say we were judging, BTW.) Because that beverage is usually closer to about 20 proof.

Rosé Vodka joins the Hangar 1 lineup of inventive vodka flavors, which includes chipotle, Buddha's Hand citron and even one made of "crisp California fog."

Early tasters at Bon Appetit think it "goes down smooth with a faint bubblegum-like aftertaste, and has more body than a lot of vodka we've tried. The best description is that it tastes exactly like it sounds: rosé with higher proof from vodka, or vodka watered down slightly with rosé."

So there you go — a winning combination, that also happens to be Instagram-friendly pink, just in time for Valentine's Day. (And what a lovely, and potent, gift to give or to receive.)
