Wow. This all started with a phone call from my publicist and she asked me if I would be interested in doing something for Playgirl magazine something about potential bachelors, of course I said "no way."
The next phone call was, "I think I may have something interesting for you." It was Millionaire Matchmaker. I said, "Sure, let's check it out." No more than a day later I had a meeting with the producers and we shot for the next few days. It was so exciting and I had a blast in front of the camera, and met some very interesting people. Actually, until I got butchered with the "dog" comment and the bragasorous, I thought it was amazing.
At the time I was very single and found it interesting to have the opportunity to meet a bunch of single women. I have always enjoyed having romance in my life and this was an interesting angle to find it.
For the record: Brian picked up his daughter and Daniel's son 7 years ago!Prior to that they were raised by their mother. Brian has been after the" Maltzman's millions" ever since he married the mother.She was never after the money so she struggled until she lost her job and could no longer cope. Prior to that she was the best mom ever.
Daniel promised her a condo,Brian promised more than the 100 he told the courts he could only afford.If these Mr.Wonderfuls don't stop here they will be doing a lot of "dirty Laundry" on the internet. She NEVER abused her kids.She loves them both very much!Lets stop this bullshit right now!
I try to watch the Daniel and Lauren episode as often as possible. Not to be a snob, but reading the comments, with very poor spelling and grammar, makes me not want to take anyone seriously.
Lauren, I am jealous, I don't care how old you are. Have a great time and I hope you and Daniel keep seeing each other.

FYI Danny, I can see that you left a trail of "lost in love" bitter exes who all watch BravoTV and love to blog. What does not mentioning your son on a dating show have to do with anything? ...or they know your not a millionaire ... or that's is not your house ... or that you give painting to all of them, etc... You are real and not afraid to be and show who you are. Never let any negative vibe slow you down. Rock on and if your ever in Miami...

It's kind of sad he didn't mention his son at all. The kid is so sweet and a great artist as well. I'm sure Daniel would have found someone a little older if he mentioned his son is pretty much the same age as Lauren.
Daniel and his sons' stepfather have been a fabulous team is raising his son. Daniel is a very loving and supportive father and step dad Brian has been there for 17 years influencing and teaching the boy to be a successful human being. Dan and Brian are a great team and have proven that men are just as capable of rearing a child as a woman is, these men saved the boy from a drug addicted mothers abuse. Kudo's to you Dan and Brian. I hope Danny finds the right woman and Brian already has a beautiful and intelligent wife.
the gilr seems to be no older then 25...no wonder you treated her with allot of romantic overtures...Patti...to some man youare very abracive about datig younger woman...and to others you are feeding the innocent young gilrs that do not understand how manupulative older men could be... I know Lauren and went to SC High School with her here in Orange County. She is very quiet and sweet and Im very excited for her to be on T.V !! Congrats and hope for the best, think that someone more our age (22/23) is a little more appropriate :)
Daniel does have a beautiful son(20)who is also very talented not only in art but also music.Its sad that he chose to miss so much of his sons life.Being raised by a single mother struggling to make ends meet you would never know Daniel had any money at all.SHAME SHAME!!!
Ive watched the show and I think Daniel is the biggest stud around. To be able to paint such a beautiful picture of the girl he is dating not only shows me that he is creative and has a deep sole. I wish I could be him for one day.
This guy is creepy. Kissing and touching Lauren in a controlling, manipulative way every chance he got. He acts like a stalker to me,wanting a young and innocent girl he can control. Lauren...run girl run.

I loved Daniel! I thought he was great- so sweet, kind and professional- a one of a kind! Before the show aired, I kept seeing this weird, creepy, swarmy preview of some strange person...I guess that's EDITING for ya! He was faaaar from that! Actually, I think Bravo should say sorry to Daniel for depicting him in that light.
Daniel seems like a kind-hearted man, generous, talented and not afraid to take a chance- he went for it. And who cares about the name dropping...when you are at a certain level in your career you cross paths with "names"- who cares...I think Patti harped on that alittle too much (and I love ya Patti!).
We would all really love to know if you guys are still together! I believe the two of you really make a great match. If you both are truly the people you appeared to be on the show, then I am sure things will work out for the both of you! Hoping to hear positive news soon! I just watched the episode that showcased Daniel; he is NOT a millionaire. The house they show at the beginning is his parents and his studio is located in the ghetto. He has a son, that he didnt even mention. And Lauren shouldnt feel special about the painting, he does that for every girl he goes out with!!! He was only on the show to promote his paintings; which are awesome, but it doesnt constitute being a millionaire. Patty needs to do her homework better!!!

Funny.....Daniel doesn't consider himself to be a braggart or name-dropper, but that's exactly what he is. Hey....it's exactly what I would expect from a successful artist in L.A. Nothing wrong with it....it's just the way he is. There are plenty of women out there that love this type of guy, especially in L.A. Good luck finding one, Daniel.

I found Daniel to be very easy going and not at all like
his taped interview .I grew up in L.A. and understand the name dropping thing. I also rebeled against this kind of shallow attitude and was happy to see Daniel taking a different tact on his first date with this lovely unassuming sweet person .I was very impressed with his art .He obviously loves women and his portrait of his date was stunning . I wish them the best of luck
