Those of you that think the Doc is fake, just have never lived in LA. Try being in an entire city filled with men like him. It sucks. No one will ever be good enough for that guy, or guys like him, because they need constant attention, adulation, and always, always need to be with the hottest, youngest girl in the room. He's not looking for a soulmate, he's looking for arm candy.

This guy is about as fake as they come. I cant believe he didnt go for the great chick they set him up with. All of these people are so shallow! They claim they want true love, and then gives no one a chance. The truth is all they LOVE is the money and their bank account. Well all of that cant make you happy at night when you are all by yourself. Fakes Fakes Fakes....all of you so called millionaires. Then the women who line up to be with them. They really put themselves out there in their fake boobs out to there, their huge lips....their depesperate antics to get the guys attention. I feel sorry for all of you.

Dr. Nettles missed out on a perfect opportunity, when he didn't pick Angela.... I saw this episode twice, and in watching it, Angela was the most real person out of the whole group of women that the doctor chose. He was so blind, that he didn't see that Angela was actually playing hard to get and not putting her self out there, like the other women. I found it attractive when Angela was actually putting him in his place. She didn't seem like a shy person, more like a strong and outgoing person in fact... They wouldn't of appreciated a girl like Angela anyways. And she was on Maxium Philippines!?!?! Whaaaaat... =)lol

I have found the female equivalent of Dr. Nettles...Shannon Bair from the "Bachelor". Remember her, she was the psycho dental hygienist with the weird teeth. Perfect match!!!

All of the people on this show, Patti included, are so "Plastic".. She recruits on "income" first, looks second, never seems to make a match, although she claims 90% success rate? She matches them on looks, first.. make-overs, mini skirts, long hair/extensions/boobs "up and out", etc. So plastic and fake. Men who need to spend thousands of dollars for her to match them up with way too young bimbos must be desperate or in need to plug themselves/careers/businesses, etc. on TV. She is the new TV "Madam", nothing more... She gets away with running a brothel of very young women for older men who can't find young "Barbies".....because she is on TV... Any successful, good looking, nice man should be able to find dates without paying her thousands... but, they want the young "Barbie" bimbos... which, we all (Except the men)..see are not the right match.. or the right way.. to go about finding your true "love". True Love doesn't happen because of fake looks (which fade or change when the clothes come off)... or age. These women she recruits for the men are all naive, young, gold diggers....

Dr. Nettles needs this show less than the show needs Dr. Nettles. As the previous poster mentioned he is far and above more sexy and more intelligent compared with the average millionaire on this show. Good thing he chose the intelligent math major michelle, not the airhead filipina, a common mistake by several others. Guys may think the filipina was great because their intelligence level probably would match hers. MDs are smart!

Angela from the Dr. Nettles episode is NO WAY pure Filipina. I lived there for 2 years. Judging by her perfect english and facial features, she is a half-and-half. Probably half American, half Filipina. She looks more like Marisa Tomei than Eva Longoria...smokin hot either way. I like the way she put that dooshtard in his place.

dermatologists can do study in dermatologic cosmetic sugery or facial cosmetic surgery,however, FCS would take more years with more surgery. Both of these areas can take boards which are under american board of cosmetic surgery.
Facial plastic surgery takes more years of surgery and boards are under American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

I'd guess he probably just did dermatologic cosmetic sugery and works in facial area. His site actually says facial cosmetic derma surgery not facial cosmetic surgery - which may be sly.

citizen you said he was an affiliate of the AACS but when i checked link you supplied he is an associate. An Associate must be board certified or board eligible in an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) and it says dermatology (does not have to be subspec of surgery. check link.

While i did not care that much for Dr. Nettles (and never heard of him before), I would like to get some facts straight such as yes he is an MD.
Citizen -you obviously do not understand how the medical community works because there are lots of errors in your post.
Doctors choose different areas to practice in which include medicine, surgery, pediatrics etc then they may take boards in that field. Unless somebody changes careers surgeons do not study internal medicine they study surgery and take surgery boards. Therefore nearly all surgeons are not boarded in internal medicine (what you ?) they are boarded in surgery. Dr. Nettles is actually a dermatologist. They spend 1 year in medicine or pediatrics than 3 yrs in dermatology. They would not take internal medicine boards because they take dermatology boards.

Facial cosmetic surgery is a subspecialty which different types of doctors may study. Surgeons, plastic surgeons, ent's and dermatologists can subspecialize in facial cosmetic surgery.
Because he is a dermatologist subspecializing in cosmetic surgery he would not be a member of the plastic surgeons.
The comment that 'he is nothing more than an internal medicine doctor' (which he isnt) was quite a slap to those who do do those annual exams!
Im not sure if Dr. N is boarded but Doctors do not actually have to be boarded in their respective fields to practice they just have to have a state license which Dr. N. has. If you google him he is a dermatolgist and does have CA license.
Please do not make lots of comments when you aren't that familiar with the system.

As far as Dr. N goes i'm not sure he ever stated he was a plastic surgeon (i would have to watch again- if i could stomach it) but Patti and staff kept referring to him as a plastic surgeon. i wish he set them straight so i think he likes people thinking he is. He bugged me because he thinks he will find somebody or make somebody perfect and he is not perfect. He needed to try the "shy" female because people can be more shy in a group - maybe she'd be more talkative with just him (of course she was later when telling him off). Lastly he says less is more because he cant really do "more" surgery limited to superficial kinds of treatments.

So he's not a real doctor even..wow..Patty you need to research these men a little more. Any being gay or straight is NOT a preference like prefering a blond or brunette..funny YOU'D call it that though. Week after week we see why these wealthy men are...ALONE

It's disappointing and disheartening that a man of your caliber would treat women (or possible soulmates as you called them) with such utter disdain. This could explain why many have questioned your sexuality. Further, you told the Eva Langoria look alike that people have called you worse names than what she called you, so that is yet another indication that you've had a 'colorful' history with women (and not in a good way). STOP talking soooo much about yourself and plugging your endeavors every chance you get, or you will NEVER attract more than just a groupie. A quality woman won't be attracted to you for your occupation, but your personality and that's the area that needs the 'work'. Best of luck to you!

Dr. Nettles should clear up the fact that he is NOT a Plastic Surgeon. He is not even surgeon. Does Bravo not check this? Patti introduced him as one of the top Plastic Surgeons in Beverly Hills?????

Dr. Rey is not a board certified plastic surgeon.
He is a General Surgeon who does only the most basics of cosmetic surgery.
He can not do face lifts or any plastic surgery.
Only cosmetic surgery.

Much like what he does for a living, he is plastic with not much below the surface. As immature as the other guy was he was still more interesting that the Dr. If he were not a doctor with an interesting job he would be boring as hell.

Wow he is very good looking and i didnt really see anything wrong with him..just the fact that everyone has to look perfect. I hope my cousin (Yah Michelle is related to me,but we call her Shelly)makes the right choice in being with him or not.

Dr. Nettles is NOT a Plastic Surgeon, he is listed as a dermatologist. He is not a surgeon. (Dr. Rey is not a board certified plastic surgeon either-that is why he only does boobs and not face lifts)
His procedures can be only minimally invasive he can't do invasive procedures. IN other words he can do botox but not a face lift.
He lists himself as a cosmetic surgeon as does Dr. Rey, neither of them can be board certified as plastic surgeons because they are not qualified either in education and training.

I find it very intetesting that on the show Dr. Nettles calls him self a "Plastic Surgeon" though he is not a member of the ASPS=American Soceity of Plastic Surgeons. This is the only organization that recognizes board certifed plastic surgeons. www.plasticsurgery.org

On the blog and his webiste he calls himself a Facial Cosmetic Surgeon. This claim is another red flag as Facial Cosmetic Surgeons are actually known and call themselves Facial Plastic Surgeons. These physicans are recognized by AAFPRS. www.aafprs.org. Most of the Facial Plastic Surgeons are ENT's that went on for additional trainning in plastic surgery.

Both Facial Plastic Surgeons and Plastic Surgeons belong to their respected organization who are then recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialtie. www.abms.org. So how can you be a surgeon if you are not even a board certifed Internal Medicince doctor? Oh yes why of course you can go join AACS ( American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery). Yes Dr. Nettls is an Affiliate Member. He is spinning words for a type of doctor that is nothing more then a Internal Medicine doctor. Yeap the one who does your annual check ups. I challenge Dr. Nettles to produce his certificate of (4) four years of general surgery trainning by an accedited univeristy program.

Robert never answered Patty's question: why did you he send mixed signals to Michelle? and all through the mixer, he couldn't even remember the women's names. What does that tell you?

I also found his looks to be a little creepy. There was something that reminded me of Michael Jackson about him. Did he go on the show to plug his business? I guess that was a redundant question.
