Patty - love your show - funny and to the point - you are great at delivering the one liners. episode with peter pan you interviewed a man who seemed to be struggling with a tick or maybe severe anxiety - I shutter to think about how he felt after leaving your presence. Please keep this in mind if/when it comes up again -in any setting. I believe you have a good heart and wouldn't want someone to feel as if they are worth nothing because of their mental illness.
So, I was watching Millionaire Matchmaker, the episode with the Romance Novel Model, and I am a little surprised by the reaction to one of the men they interviewed. This man is clearly nervous and has a tic and they are making fun of him on national television?!?!?! Are you serious!!!! You should all be ashamed of yourselves!!!!
Patti, your awesome! When i watch your show i try to pick up tips for my own dating life, i'm trying out the five non negotiables right now :) I wish your friend luck, but she may can do better than that guy. He's nice, he's cute, but he seems a little immature for his age. Well, can't wait until next week!
Hi Patti, I had a good laugh with Ms Mid-life Crisis! I think she needs another year or two to get over her failed marriage. She appears to be very defensive showing that she's going through her superwoman phase i.e. I don't need anyone but me and I don't need a man. I think she may have come to you just to get some TV exposure. Unless all that info was edited out, it seemed that she kept talking about what she was but not how she did it? The fact that she picked the 'Space Artist' and thought that he was cool shows how 'out there' in La la land she was... Basically she is in DENIAL about what she wants and she's definitely intimidated by other successful/beautiful women including you.
Hate the show .... everytime she is on i change to something else.... who talks like that to thier clients.
About time you found love for your clients! Especially sweet was the fact that one find was your girlfriend from Florida, who by the way, is absolutely a gorgeous woman.
Patti, Do you think per chance that you could do a MAKEOVER on your own two employeed??? Their bizarre get ups are over the top in Hollyweird but in New York??? They give fashion/makeover advice to millionaires ...look in da mirror. Too distracting from the show. Off with the mohawk and the colored curls. Enuf already!
This last show was funny and I enjoyed it.
Cindy is really cute and has an inner beauty. I hope she gets what she needs.
Peter Pan....got on my nerves at first but I ended up liking him. He is pretty funny.
Is Amy a relative of yours? You 2 look alike.
I agree with you, I just log in to send a message about the same issue . My son use to have all kind of tics, and making fun on this guy made me soo mad and sad, I WAS huge fan of this show until yesterday . PLEASE people you know what is CERO TOLERANCE ON BULLYNG????? Bravo TV: Shame on you... Paty: if you are doing “mitzvahs” do them right, Don’t make fun of people we all deserve a chance in Love.
Patti, the character you claimed had no genitalia is a giant dildo. My son is very disturbed that his daughter likes that show. I find it hysterical that some lunatic fringe group hasn't attacked this character yet. But a teletubbie with a purse is fair game.
I believe that Patti was not making fun of the guy with the tic. She lit into him on this because he was obviously bragging about how "great" he was - like many of the men viewers get to see on the show - and he so obviously was NOT. He was not physically attractive, and I think that he obviously did not have a fabulous career either. Keep in mind that we, the viewers, only see snippets, so we don't know all that he was saying, but he evidently was not wowing anyone with his personality either. Also, although the clients on the show are not paying for Patti's services, Patti's clients expect her to present top-notch candidates. If you were a woman and this guy with a tic (who admitted to being on medication) were matched to you, AND you were paying a princely sum, how happy would you be?? This is the equivalent of a fat, slovenly, homely (medicated for some sort of condition) girl showing up for a casting call and expecting to be matched to Prince Charming - ain't gonna happen. This guy needed a reality check on who he can realistically expect to be matched to for a date, and Patti gave him one. End of story.
Dear Patty, I absolutely LOVE your show!! I am well off and a successful Interior Designer and the way you handle the show, its awesome. Every episode is refreshing, your right to the point attitude makes the show very interesting and your non-sense approach makes me want to hire you, I am on a happy relationship, but, if I wasnt, I would run to you for help!! Great Job!!
I tuned in to watch Cindy Guyer! I love her!!! She seems to be a real friend of Ramonas which means she is probably honest and probably a good person. And watching her this whole episode - WOW. I see why her date was nervous. Not only is she smart, kind, classy and funny ("Patty, you're my fairy godmother!") She has everything Patty lacks.. She seems to me like the type of person that gives you the benefit of the doubt, even though she is alone and has been betrayed. That is the real definition of strength and positivity. Go Cindy! Hope you continue to have fun in life with or without true love.
Patty "I wouldn't fuck you!" -- Subtle.. Patty and her coworkers were really cruel to the guy that was doing that thing with his tongue.. I don't know why he gave permission after that was shot.. Maybe he signed before it was shot and had no choice.
Patty, follow Stacy London's advice.. if you cannot zip up your jacket that means it doesn't fit and you shouldn't wear it...
You know, I do have to agree there. I'm all for being yourself. However, a large part of their job is critiquing others and therefore, their appearances should be upgraded as well. I highly doubt that if either of them showed up to be matched with your millionaire/millionairesses, they could get in the front door.
Patty, isn't it your job to make people fall in love with the millionaires that they actually ARE, not the people you "coach" or "makeover" them to be while on your show? You can't make someone act like someone their not and then expect the chemistry to last! Match.com sounds much more promising to me..
YOU DON"T SPEAK ITALIAN!!
The millionaire in the "Welcome to the Big Apple" says he loves...MUZARELL??? Muzarell is simply bastardized dialect from American Italians. The word is Mozzarella!!! CRINGE!!!
Patty, In what universe is it okay to tell people TO THEIR FACE, no less, that they are ugly? Maybe you belong there instead because it's not this one! I like your direct approach generally, but I don't think it's necessary to be cruel so ZIP it on the CRUEL! Not cool....
I love the show but think it is hilarious as I watch that you critique your millionaires for being superficial and tell them that they will never find true love when they base everything on looks, yet when these girls come in to be picked over and chosen for the men millionaires you make fun of how they look, call them fat, ugly etc. Now who is the superficial one? Take a look in the mirror and listen to your own words before you go hurting these women...it's so rude and annoying.
Patti, We always watch your shows here in Belgium and and I ask myself if that if you want to link a person to another person it is always in a TV-show? Can you match everybody or only the really beautiful young girls or the rich older woman to a millionaire? The reason that I'am asking is I wanna be helped too. My daughter's boyfriend lives in L.A and we aren't in the possibility to go there and he can't come here( they are both on school). I would like to get to know someone in LA, a sweet honest man, age does not matter, that much love and respect can give to us . I think that is very important in life that loveones (people) respects one another, be honest and loyal to eachother. I'm 47 years, 5,7 tall, blue eyes, blond hair and I work on a high school, love fitness, swimming, travelling to other countries especially for the cultur and to see a lot of the country and my biggest passion is horses ( have here 5 horses of my own). Can you help me Patti? Love Sanne
i think patty is right on th money reading people.some need to be tweeked, taught things that they might not have been aware of,or taught.itsjust like plastic surgery, its the same person underneeth, but a better version of themselves.so patty bringing attention to flaws that hinder true romane/love,its all positive.i do agree sometimes a little lacking in tackfullness.for me,i come from a very blunt family.you need to be able to laugh at yourself, and others.lets face it,we all can improve.
