I really liked you before this blog, but now you are 100% in my esteem. Because of your comments not to wear fur, only faux fur. You proved to me that you are all heart. I'm sitting here typing, and my 10 year old beautiful Manx cat, Mabel is sleeping next to me.
I rescued her from a shelter 6 hours before her put down schedule, and she was 6 months old at the time. You have no idea what your comment meant to me, and probably animal lovers all over! Thank you for being who you are, Rachel. So many animals with great potential are destroyed each day - and fur is part of the problem. Thank you so much for caring about the cause for animals.

Hello - just felt the need to tell you that I love your show. I love watching how your passion for fashion becomes what we see the stars wearing in magazines and on TV. You know, I'm just a middle aged woman working construction projects in the midwest. I'm so far away from fashion! I have trouble if I even look like a girl onsite - let alone dress with style. There is only so much you can do with jeans and workboots. But....I still love fashion, still buy the magazines, still get dressed up on the weekends when I can. Your concern over what the trash tabloids lie about you struck me because you have so much pride in your work and you care how your work, thus you, are presented. If it is a lie how can you combat it or fix it? I felt for you. I believe that the more famous you get the more you will be fodder for this type of stuff. But as one of the few women on most of these construction sites I can tell you this - Be professional, be true to yourself, have the confidence that your work is your best, and the lies will be what falls aside - what will rise is how great your work is. Allow yourself the few minutes of dissapointment and dismay at the cattyness of people - then back to work. Your a classy lady - stay that way.

Dear Rachel,
Honey, are your parents still alive? If so turn to them as well as Rodger for your strength. Don't allow the crazies out there to drag you down. Some people are meant to be thin and some to be heavy, you are one of the lucky ones who are thin. This is a thin world and isn't it funny how Hollywood is always telling models and actresses that they're never thin enough and yet they're on your case due to your tiny frame. If, by chance you are not eating due to stress or another reason that is another story and you need to make sure you are at least getting enough calories into your body to keep you strong and to give you enough energy to continue the schedule you have.
I think you care so deeply about everything you're doing and your not taking as much care of yourself as you are your business. What good would it do if you get ill due and are no longer there to help the stars look as perfectly as you do for them? You need to remember that the body is a machine and needs a certain amount fuel to keep it going. Just make sure you eat a little something anywhere from 3 to 6 times a day. That can be a glass of milk and slice of toast, some yogart, cottage cheese or anything else that you enjoy. Not to have a big meal, but a little something in your system to keep it going and keeping you feeling well.
You are very lucky to have Rodger as your support system and he's lucky to have you. Keep in mind the end of the rainbow, there are things you want to do in your life and you need to keep your eye on the goals you both have.
By the way, if your parents are no longer here I'll be more than happy to be a replacement for you. I'm not a stalker or anything crazy like that, but it looks to me like you just need someone to talk to and to help you keep your feet on the ground and your head taking care of yourself first. Keep up the good work and try to surround yourself with people who want to their best for you, not for themselves. Their eyes have to be on the goals you are working for not what their's are!!

First off, you are amazing. I have watched your show since the beginning and I can tell, even you have said, you are not one for dealing with the press or its harsh rumor mill very well. I really do understand how you feel - I mean, not an international level (hahaa) - but I do know what you mean. To save you the dramatics, I am a survivor of poverty, racial intolerance, self-intolerance, sexual uncertainty, abuse, two charges at desires for "ending it all" and a redefining rebirth. I am only twenty but have experienced a small piece of a lifetime. Well, so much for sparing you the dramatics. In saying all of this, I simply wanted to tell you that you make a difference. I know that we are talking about thousand dollar pieces whom 99% of your viewers cannot afford and 50%, or so, think are unnecessary but I do understand. The artistic quality, the excitement, the energy, the whole gusto of the fashion world! I can appreciate the euphoria behind it. And even though you are a stylist, not a special envoy to Afghanistan or a UNICEF operator in Uganda, you do make a big difference to someone like me. Someone who has no where near the atrocities, strife or tragedy in life as those people do. You are a simple woman, following a simple passion and that is one of the most fabulous things you can give to someone. Sexual abuse wasn't easy and neither were the taunts and the jeers growing up, but not living a life that I can love is even harder. I know the undertone, if you read between the lines, is - I am a teenager who needed help coming out of the closet. Hahaaa... Quite the opposite, I fought so hard to discover who I was - no matter what my identity was. I just wanted one. And it took years of trial, soul-searching, confessions and spiritual reawakening and I feel as though I have come to place where I can just be me and not take notice to what people say or what they do because in the end my God Loves me. And he loves you, too. So much. I know this message sounds corny and over-the-top and I've never written on a blog in my life but I thought it was something I needed to say. The world has their eye on you, and through your work you will find ways to turn even the smallest light in a dark world for so many people. Even if that bulb does have a Gucci label on it! Hahaaa... Keep the faith, keep delivering amazing fashions and most improtantly keep strong with God - whatever faith you may be, God is everywhere and he can give you the tools to always work through it and not around it (that was key for me!)! God Bless!

P.S. I started an organization about two years ago in my freshman year at college to try and rebuild those who have been torn down by tribulations, through education. Fashion is a strong passion of mine and I am working hard in the industry to accomplish this goal. Who knows, maybe we'll run into each other one day. We're not a popular organization or anything, struggling I guess you could call us. Cheers!

I think Rachel is an incredible stylist and I love her show. I just cannot stand Taylor's behavior. She's uncivilized and rude and frankly, sometimes I shut the volume down so I don't have to listen to her constant complaining and unpleasant demeanor. I find it disturbing that Rachel tolerates such behavior. Taylor shows no respect for Rachel and I find it disturbing that Rachel puts up with such nastiness. No, it's not good TV to have such a sourpuss on the show. It's a turnoff, just like Kate Gosselin.

I think you are incredibly talented and beautiful, but what I don't understand is why you wear fur? You have so many wonderful designers clothes to choose from you look good in anything. You are in front of the public and you are a role model to young women. When they see that you don't care for the plight of animals.Why should they, Do you know how animals are treated? just before they are skinned sometimes they are still alive to give you there coat,our how they are housed in cramped conditions ,five to six stuffed in a small cage waiting to be skinned so you can have your coat. If you are at all interested try going on the Peta site. I think it will be quite educational.

You have the dream life, you have great fashion sense, a great lifestyle and need I say more. Please, Please, never tolerate insubordinance from your staff. They are there to make your life easier; to be an asset and not a liability. Taylor was ridiculous. You have enough stress already and then you deal with Taylor's temper tantrums. She is clearly unstable. She knows her job but you spend too much time playing up to her and giving her attention and seeing if she is okay. That is draining and unhealthy. And for what? This is your program. You've made it, not her. Let her pay her own dues. You don't owe her anything. I did that with my staff and they only backstab you in the end. Look at second season when she started giving you a hard time. There is no loyalty. Be loyal to yourself and your mission. She appears to be a miserable person who doesn't like herself , therefore she can't truly like you. She hates you when you don't please her and she's better than you when she delivers because she helped YOU out. Run from negative energy because there is always an underling problem and much more to come if you stay. You've come too far and worked too hard. Show that you believe in yourself by demanding respect from your staff. I would kill for her position.

Rachel! You are an incredible strong woman that I admire very much. I cannot wait for the new season! I think I will have to get the girls together this week and have a Zoe event with Banana Split Daquiris, Rachel's Banana Martini, Banana Chips and… well... you get the idea .
I can't believe I am writing this, I never blog. You have inspired me to go for what I want…… So here goes…… I think I want to work for you. I have a good job now but it’s not really the one I want. I want to be involved in creating and seeing something become real, to see a vision realized. I don't care if I have to unpack boxes for years or what small part I play as long as I am part of the team and have a chance to grow and learn and be creative, be busy and get organized. I love to organize! I also love fashion, it wasn't my major, I didn't really have a major I took classes in everything. I have had a successful career so far and have always put 110% into my work. I love being with people, I haven’t met anyone I couldn’t work with.
I have some suggestions regarding the space that you keep your beautiful one of a kind dream clothes- Rachel’s Dream Closet , needs to be reworked. It needs to be organized in a way that it is easy to find what you are looking for and as items come in they need to be cataloged and a schedule needs to be prepared with who you are dressing for what event. Then items need to be rated with those events in mind. Then, top rated items (the top bananas) can be brought out for your fashion optioning, the jewelry, dresses and shoe options, need to be fully dressed and set aside so that you have several clear visions of their options. You need a closet makeover and you need procedures and check lists for all of this so that you don’t have any kit mishaps. You need logistic planning so that you never have to worry that your staff or yourself will be too late or so late or unplanned that it can’t be fixed on Oscar day. I realize you are already doing this, it just needs to be refined. You need me Rachel. You just don’t know it yet. I can’t really explain it, I just feel it in my bones that I am supposed to help you. I know you probably think this is crazy because I think it’s kind of crazy too. But I just had to say that and put it out there, whether anything comes of it or not. If you interested in hearing more, just email me and we can chat.

My name is Sofia, I'm an 21 years old swedish girl and a big fan of yours.
My life is all about clothes & styling, my heart beats for fashion. Being able to work full time with styling would be a dream come true.
The reason why i'm heading abroad is that Sweden has no market nor demand for this profession and that i want to learn from the best. During autumn09 & spring10 I’ve planed to attend some intensive courses in styling & fashion. One can choose between intensive daytime (shorter period) & part time weekend. Which make it possible to work as an apprentice, intern or assistant meanwhile. If the job needs all my time i'm ofcourse not taking any courses.
So i wonder if you by any chance are in need of an apprentice, intern or assistant?

I'm very outgoing, ambitious, systematic, willing to work, openminded and most important of all i have good taste and a perfect eye for styling.

I just wanted to say that this show is perhaps the best reality show that I've seen, simply because of it's content and what it has to offer. It provides insight to a life that the average person would never have to a profession that most people didn't know existed. Yet at the same time, it has shown how "real" you are, and not just a fake, staged, actress. I really do like how you are all in the style/fashion industry, yet you do not act like the stereotypical valley girl or Beverley Hills snob. You all are wonderful people, and I wish the world had more hard working individuals with hearts, like you.

I just recently watched your shows back to back for the first time. You seem to be a sensitive and caring person with your family and staff. I really enjoyed the show. Until I realized all the FUR you were wearing so proudly. OMG!!! Please tell us that they are fake FURS. I'm sorry, but I don't think anyone could or would take you serious with an employee like Taylor. She is the devil. I don't care how well you know each other's temperment, you should NEVER in a million years talk to a superior the way she does. It just doesn't say much for you as a person. Get rid of her. She is just a horrible person. You can find someone else with MUCH more talent and who will respect you as an employer.

I watched a few episodes of the RZP for the first time this morning and wow.....how pathetic. Im always amazed at how these people lose sight of whats really important in life when they gain fame or get involved in the celebrity whirlwind. You are constantly wearing fur! you must know where that fur comes from and how its made?! how do you justify wearing animals that are tortured so badly for their fur just so you can wear it as an accessory? As a women who specializes in finding the perfect outfit and perfect accessories, couldn't you find an alternative to the real animal furs you are currently wearing?! Wearing real fur is not a nessicity and if you are so talented in your profession, you should realize that fur is out... and also ... that more reasonable alternatives exist!!

I really enjoyed your show. I'm not very fashion forward and I wouln't consider myself incredibly stylish but I got great entertainment value and I hope a few tips and inspiration to eshew the why bother attitude and wear mascara and a bit of a heel to the grocery store.

Just wanted to add my 2¢: before the show, all I knew about Rachel Zoe was what I read on the gossip blogs, most of which is (honesty moment) kinda negative & schaudenfreude-y, but one night I decided to tune in, and I've been won over to Team Zoe!

I loved it! The stressful parts, the shopping parts, the sweet parts like the anniversary dinner with Rodger, even when Rodger freaks because you've spent a bundle on vintage clothing during NY Fashion Week (been there, albeit on a MUCH smaller scale...) I applaud your ballsiness in allowing the reality-show cameras to invade so much of your life, and hope to see more episodes!

i hope season 2 is shown in OZ. there are soo many fashion blunders down here. and when i return to LA and NYC i cant wait to get my hands on some of your own branded designs!!!

I thought the first season was a fashion lovers wet dream.. I absolutely adored it... you're style reminded me so much of my grandmothers, she wore lots of fur, mink coats and had impeccable taste, she passed away four years ago but I still think of her all the time, I think you're a fabolous inspiration for people like me who come fall will be a fashion student. Thank you for never being afraid to be yourself and I can't wait for season 2!

When is a new Rachael Zoe seson going to start?

Rachel, I saw you in a magazine and OMG please gain some weight, you were little in the show and beautiful, tHE MAGAZINE I just read you looked old and drawn and you could see all your bones YUK.

I really enjoyed your show, and being able to go to the fashion shows with you thru your show was amazing. PLEASE come back for another season.

When is season 2 coming??? I need to watch it, the show was unbelievable! i keep watching season one over and over again, cuz Rachel is my hero. She shows that you can do anything you want, and you should take every oppurtunity to do so!

I love love love this show! I love Taylor's personality she cracks me up and Rachel - you are so incredibly charming and stylish - I absolutely can not believe how beautiful you are! I have told all of my friends and family about this show- I hope there is another season soon it is so entertaining and it takes me away from the stress of real life!

Hi I write from Italy I want to say to rachel zoe

1)when I read that you're style is influneced from how you're mother dressed,I found it amazing.Really.I read all that article and was so moving.Make me wanna have my mum here with me and hear her smell.
I live in london and she is in Italy.she has this good smell,and I never noticed this but she influenced my stile.Truly.The hippie hairs,the 60's dress open on the back,the belts ,the blazer,the flowers in the hair
I never noticed cause now she dresses very office,and bourgeoise,but just listening her voice,smile and seeing her attitude always made her say "jesus.You dress like I did!"
and my favourite happen to be a fiorucci blu long dress with white flowers on of 1975,that she wanted to throw away ,of when she was 15.I still wear it on summer,and she says im quite dramatic with that .and what i really love about it is that has an end with a white laces.And She did that adjustement.

I can't get enough of your show and I can't wait for the second season! Please let there be more than 6 episodes, because 6 definitely isn't enough.
I think you have such amazing style and your passion for fashion is infectious.
