There is something in the air in Los Angeles that makes me so happy. The second I landed I knew I had made the right decision.
Rachel was frantic styling job after job, the Oscars were coming up, and of course, she's taking on every last minute favor. Luckily for me, one of those last minute favors ended up being a shoot with Kim Kardashian. I meeaaannn, love!
I will always put hair and makeup first, but dabbling in styling never hurt anyone, and being on set with Rachel and Kim K. is beyond a dream job. I was so excited and grateful to be a part of this shoot.
In such a short time, everything was starting to make sense for me moving across the country. I could not wait for what was next. . .
I am catching up on the Rachel Zoe Project episodes. It is extremely obvious your friend Joey is sooooo jealous of anybody else that comes into your life. Jeremiah is beyond gorgeous and Joey is so jealous of him. That is probably why he decided to move back. He is afraid that if he didn't, someone else might take his place. Plus, he obviously wouldn't get any "air" time if he hadn't. He doesn't care about you, or anyone else for that matter. He only cares about himself, and how much exposure he can get off of your show. I think he is rude, selfish and seems only out to sabotage any other gay man that may come into your life. He is immature - he reminds me of a childish, selfish, "mean" high school girl. / Jeremiah is so much more mature, level headed, smart and carries himself with so much more class and sophistication. And he's by far better looking. With the kind of clients you have to work with, I would think, he would be the type of person you would want by your side. All it takes is one person on a team to ruin the entire dynamics of the team. It is so damaging to a business. I know this is a television show. But hopefully you will realize that having his childish, jealous, selfish, 10 yr old attitude around, is a detriment to you and everyone else who works with you. Your business is an incredibly successful business. It just seems to me that in your line of work you would want to surround yourself more with someone like Jeremiah. And if it's more about your television show, Jeremiah is still by far more fun to watch than Joey. Joey is just over the top irritating.
Joey, Mandana describes Jeremiah as creative, trustworthy, and really pleasant to be around. You are probably creative and trustworthy (at least to Rachel Zoe), but you are definitely not pleasant to be around or watch. Please humble yourself and allow Jeremiah to grow into his position and expand the Rachel Zoe, Inc. empire.
@Carson Paul-so you agree Joey acted like an ass, huh? I completely agree with posters that believe that Joey is far too effeminate and vicious. Relax, Joey. Surely each of you have unique abilities and, therefore, can both be beneficial in Rachel's life. Jeremiah, please remain genuine, humble, and intuitive. Those qualities will carry you far in this life.
I love you! I think you are being yourself. And as for "Bailey ATL" did you ever think that maybe this is his personality? As a gay man im offended that you would say something so ignorant. I guess ignorance is a theme in reality television watchers. THIS IS TELEVISION PEOPLE!! It would not be interesting if everyone got along and no one acted an ass. Rachel has been stabbed in the back twice now, and as Rachel's best friend, Joey is looking out for people like that.
Wow - I could not have said it better!! You guys all hit the nail on the head with Joey's behavior toward Jeremiah. He should watch his step or he will be gone before he's had his full 15 minutes courtesy of Rachel.
Joey, has fame gone to your head already? You were snide with Jeremiah. When Rachel announced it was you she wanted on the Kardashian shoot you beamed and shot a look at Jeremiah. Why? You then told Jeremiah over coffee that you 'hope' he will last with Rachel Zoe. Huh? What kind of a thing is that to say to a newbie unless you're trying to intimidate him? I think your fear is that Jeremiah will upstage you. If he turns out to be better at styling than you, it's the death of your job isn't it? He is good looking and reminds me of Nate Berkus, who started out styling but now does so much more. You are more catty than a woman.
@benla: more Joey, much, much less Jeremiah! Man is far too pushy for someone just getting started and talk about a drama queen. Didn't he hear Rachel say "take your lead from Joey" and not "criticize and judge"? Jeremiah needs to talk less, listen more, and see a doctor about that eye-rolling tic he can't seem to control.
Wow Joey, After watching last night's episode Idon't think I realized how mean you could be. Mind you I have been watching the show for 3 years and have seen Taylor be vicious to people but the way you treat Jeremiah is just above and beyond cruel. Obviously, if you had been paying attention to your surroundings and the person standing in front of you (Jeremiah) you would have seen the disappointment on his face when Rachel said you were the one doing the shoot with Kim Kardashian, there was no reason other than to rub salt in the wound that you had to commend Rachel on the "best decision of her life". Hopefully enough people will comment on your behavior to Jeremiah and something will change. Needless to say the comment "don't screw up"...I have no words for such immature talk. I think here may be some jealousy brewing on your part.
Joey, After watching last night's show, I just wanted to recommend cutting Jeremiah some slack. He's new and even though you are Rachel's "best friend" he seems to have a more likeable character on the show. The over the top "thanks Rachel you have just made the best decision" concerning allowing you to go to the shoot with Kim Kardashian was exactly that...over the top.
Joey, I'm trying to be patient with you. I hope that you watched yourself on this last episode cause you need to take it down a notch. You are talking over Rachel, interrupting when she was speaking to Jeremiah about her tastes. It's too much. I know that you're gay and I love that about you but personally I think that you are over acting your gayism. ( I think that I just made that word up, but I think you get it) Be yourself cause your are awesome. There's plenty of Rachel to go around. See you next week.
Joey is irritating who's just trying to gain a level of fame off the show. And since his talents are only visible in a hair salon, he needs to needle those he sees as competition (ie Jeremiah) to get camera time. He is atypical of what's wrong with gay men...and I for one would rather see a lot less of him and more of Jeremiah. He needs to go away quickly and quietly...
