Kenya: "Apollo is a Liar"

Kenya reacts to Apollo's accusations.

WHEN LIES GO LEFT

Lie #1: I offered fellatio to Apollo.
Lie #2: I initiated the texts.
Lie #3: I saw Apollo in LA
Lie #4: Everything that comes out of either of Phaedra or Apollo’s mouths.

Let’s get into shall we? As you can see from last night’s episode, Apollo could not get his lies straight. LIE #1: Phaedra told everyone (Kandi, Cynthia, and Porsha) on several occasions that I offered fellatio to Apollo. Once again, Phaedra launched a slander campaign to paint me as a whore. Kandi confirmed the texts were platonic. She looked like the fool she is when Apollo actually said point blank that I never offered sex of any kind to him.

DIGGING A DEEPER DITCH

Lie #2: I didn’t initiate the texts. Kandi confirmed this when she read them for herself. When I called Apollo out for initiating texts with me from the reunion, everyone, including him, took it to mean they were sexual in nature. From that, he lashed out with an outrageous fable of me stalking him in LA and him changing hotels. When Phaedra continued to batter him for the so-called truth last night, she only painted him in a corner. Only more lies ensued. Apollo could not keep his story straight. The truth is I have never seen Apollo outside of the show. I’ve never seen him in Los Angeles or any other city. The texts also prove that. Apollo is a liar just like his lie-awyer wife. Phaedra should threaten to cancel his allowance if she wants to get the truth. He’ll sing like a bird.LA-GATE

It’s obvious something happened in LA, but I was not there. Did Phaedra learn of another woman or why he was at a different hotel than he claimed to be? Clearly their marriage is in trouble, but I’m not the issue. I was the convenient fall guy for texting Apollo back. With that said, Phaedra continues to malign and attack me on every level including my fertility and age, yet, Phaedra is older than I am. Attacking her looks would be too easy for me, so I won’t stoop to her level. Why is my age or looks an issue for her? Further, what kind of woman who claims to be a Christian uses a woman’s fertility as an attack against another by referring to “scrambled eggs.” No Christian is cruel. These comments are an all-time low, consistent with a devil, not any Christian.

The real issue is Phaedra’s troubled marriage and what is Apollo really doing with other women and why he can’t keep his eyes ON her. I’m not the issue. If she really wants the truth from Apollo she should threaten to cut him from her payroll, I’m sure he’ll sing like a bird.

NENE

I can call foul and say NeNe was throwing shade in her interviews about my living arrangements. The truth is I was at the Georgian Terrace, which is a 4 star hotel with valet parking in a 2 BR 2 BA suite while the other side of hotel was being renovated. It may have looked like an apartment of some kind, but I can assure you it was not. The juxtaposition of the two places was funny, and I’ll take this one to the chin. But no one should try to count my money, especially when one has never owned a home of their own.

FAKE IT ‘TILL YOU MAKE IT

I appreciate when one can humble themselves and admit they lied through the entire first season. I find it interesting that people in glass houses throw stones and call people names more befitting to themselves such as “fake.” My instincts are always accurate, and I only hope the lies on all levels stop. You can only be successful in life when you are real. Being fake will never get you anywhere.Love or hate me, like or dislike me, laugh at me or cry with me, I have always shown you who I really am. I make no apologies for my quirky sense of humor, my personal challenges, my embarrassing moments, my messiness, and deep personal issues I’ve shared with the world. I have kept it 100% real… Real crazy at times, but always real.

Always,

Kenya

Kenya: "I Will Always Be a Queen"

Kenya Moore dishes on the truce with Phaedra Parks and the non apology from Porsha Williams.

CLOSURE
The reunion represents closure on all levels. I believe most women need closure. Reunions are tough because you live through filming, then through seeing it on TV, and then again during the reunion. You can feel you have moved on from something difficult and then you have to discuss it and rehash it. I felt good about this reunion, because I have grown so much. I am stronger now and nothing or anyone can destroy me.

Speaking of opening old wounds, I was respectful toward Phaedra during the conversation, but it’s clear that after our truce, she still wants to call me a whore and liken me to other “whores in the bible.” God doesn’t like ugly. Maybe sitting alone on the sofa now is confirmation.

THE NON APOLOGY
There was a part of me that was hopeful about getting an apology for being physically attacked at the last reunion, since that would mean the past was behind us. You have to own what you do wrong in life. Children are taught that you don’t hit anyone first or at all. Whether provoked or not, isolated incident or not, physically attacking someone is legally and morally incomprehensible. As such, doing the right thing should be easy. But this is the same person whose grandfather was a greatly respected civil rights activist who fought for non-violence, yet thinks the Underground Railroad was an actual train that took people to freedom.

In typical fashion, Phaedra attacks my character in a preplanned soliloquy. But in her own words, her “THOT” friend thinks that spreading your legs wide open and accepting gifts from married men is admirable. Yet, it’s basically teaching young girls that having a square card reader between your butt cheeks is how one becomes “blessed” and “successful.” That’s why I will always be a Queen, literally and figuratively, because when I am wrong, I can apologize, forgive, and move forward. I can love, though I have not always been loved, and I can be talented and successful on my own merit without needing men to finance my lifestyle, and I can be the bigger person when others try to bring me down.

SINGLE VS MARRIED
Some viewers ask why there are single women on a show about Housewives. It’s simple -- every Real Housewife franchise has single women, from Beverly Hills to OC to NY to Atlanta. With that said, there are only two Housewives on RHOA that are currently not married, Claudia and myself. In fact, approximately 43 percent of all Black women have never been married. My journey is not unlike the many Black single women who watch our show. Nearly half of Black women want to be married and find true love but are not willing to settle or can’t find the right man. NeNe and her puppet would like everyone to think it’s better to be in a horrible marriage rather than be single.

Having said that, I have never received so much love from the viewers as when I was featured on The Millionaire Matchmaker. It made me realize is that I am no different from all the single women around the world looking for real love. My journey is their journey, and ultimately they want me to fall in love with them rooting me on. It happened for Kandi, Kim, Bethenny, Tamra, etc. and it will happen for me too with all of you by my side. Therefore, having single women as Housewives is good for the show. Everyone deserves a chance to be happy. And we can inspire and give hope to those looking for love.

Rumor has it that someone said single women should be fired from RHOA. As such, we wouldn’t have witnessed the beautiful rekindling of NeNe and Gregg's love or her wedding special. Therefore, those people clearly didn't create the successful model for this show. If it's a play to get me fired... Try again. #CatchThatShade
