Kandi Burruss Is Opening Up a Second Location for Her Old Lady Gang Restaurant

The event started at 8 p.m. on a school night, but the scene inside the new Old Lady Gang was hopping on October 18. That's right: The latest location of Kandi Burruss' southern eatery has had its soft opening, and — thanks to the power of Instagram Stories — we got to see inside.

Prior to the opening of the new restaurant, which is in Camp Creek, Atlanta, Kandi gave us a little scoop on what to expect. And, guys, early reviews were good! In the clip above, the singer shared: "I hope [people] come and support the second location just as much as they supported the first because the first OLG is off the chain, OK? That line stays down the street. The wait list is long."

So the second spot, it seems, can't open its doors soon enough. And in the meantime, Kandi was on hand to cut the ribbon outside the new restaurant with all three members of the Old Lady Gang: Mama Joyce, Aunt Nora, and Aunt Bertha. Inside, the ladies cooked up some of their famous recipes — perhaps they doled out some deep-fried deviled eggs? or shrimp and grits? — while guests packed the dance floor. There was also a glittering cake for the big night, and a shiny, red, Old Lady Gang van parked outside.
