Yolanda explains why she won't be blogging this week.

on Nov 18, 20130

Dear Bravo Lovers,

My sincere apologies, but I wont be able to blog this week. I was in the hospital this weekend and unfortunately don’t have much juice to think or write.

I hope you will give me a free pass and I promise to be back at this next week.

Much love and a big hug,

Yolanda

Yolanda, you are a class act. Your children are so beauiful and down to earth just like you. I

know how you suffer with lymes and I don't know how you get out there every day. Take care of

yourself and don't let comments from mean people cause you stress. Take care of yourself and get

a rest period every day.

Hope you feel better Yolanda. I really enjoy you and your husband when he is on the show.

I hope that this new day finds you feeling much better, Yolanda. I'm so sorry you have been admitted to the hospital.

The show wouldn't be a 'show' without one or two feuds going on. But it seems shame that now Yolanda has found herself in the middle of a war of words. Her character seems stable and one that she tells it like she see's it. I am happy that she is on her road to recovery.

No one truly knows what was said between Yolanda , Kyle and Kim other than the people who were in the conversation.

On that note... My genuine comment is that is there a slight possibility that Yolanda did say whatever it is they accused her of saying whilst Yolanda was suffering from Lyme disease ? As my understanding is that when a person is genuinely sick, perhaps even sometimes delirious. Maybe at that time we all say things totally out of character and things which are far removed from what we intend to say or would ever say when we are in a healthier state of being.

I believe Brandi is benign and those who think she isn't just don't get it.  Yolanda you are safe with a friendship with Brandi, just don't piss her off and you never will, so you are safe.  Brandi is guilty of speaking her mind only.  You are a lady therefore will never be the brunt of her honesty.

Yolanda, I wish you fast recovery. I truly think you are the nicest, strongest and most loving house wife of them all. What a beautiful family you  have. God bless. You are just a beautiful person inside & out.

Dear Yolanda, I hope you feel much better as time passes, hopefully sooner than later. I'm sorry you are having to suffer with this awful disease. For what it's worth, I think you are an amazing lady. I love how you stick to your values and stick up for yourself in a very diplomatic way. Thank you for being you and keeping it real.

I am so disappointed that the show chose you as a housewife... You preach one thing and totally do the opposite. You try to get sympathy with your illness but it seems very contrived. Your also very boring.

Hi Yolanda. Sending you warm healthy wishes from beautiful windswept Cape Cod where we breed horses on a farm a mile from the sea. I too was hit hard by Lyme's Disease-especially since it was not diagnosed until I was no longer able to walk and have been in a wheelchair since.  Keep the Faith and believe in what your body is telling you. You appear to have a superb medical team and much support on the home front. My thoughts are with you...Be well!

I am sorry that you are not feeling well.  With that said, I don't understand how you could imply that Kyle's husband did something that was wrong.  You of all people should know how hurtful that is.  I thought that you had higher standards then that, but I am clearly wrong.

Yolanda - so sorry for your horrific struggle with Lyme's disease. You are so brave and stoic, I know you will get through this! You are the most amazing mom (Gigi will truly appreciate just how much when she has children of her own), wife, step-mom, X-wife and friend. Sending prayers for a speedy and full recovery!

Hi Yolanda,

Get well soon, I just love love your style and you are my favorite housewife. Can you tell me more about the grey shoes you wore to Carlton's house?

Does you physician support your fasting and cleaning routines?  Seems to me that if you are fighting a chronic bacterial infection (Lyme's Disease) then you should maintain a healthy diet that is rich in protein, vitamin C and iron so that you body has the essential nutrients to sustain its own natural antibiotic response to the infection. The high sugar content of the maple syrup that is in the mixture that you drink during the cleanse is really not good for your immune response

Yolanda,

I think it was really nice of you to send out a little message to the fans to let us know that you would not be writing a blog this week due to your health. I pray to God that you recover from your illness soon and get back to the active, happy person that you were. Feel better soon. God bless you and your family always.

LOL blogs to say she is not blogging this week !  Maybe its because her so called friend Brandy can't keep her big foul mouthed mouth shut and just loves to blurt to the world all that her friends confide to her.

I've suffered from Candidiasis for almost 20 years now, and although treat my body well, intellectually research and stay on top of the subject, and have spent thousands and thousands on possible aid... I still suffer. I wish you well dear, in this exhaustive, emotional, and painful journey of going through life "half dead". But only being 'half-dead,' means there is HOPE. Keep the chin and mind looking up to God; he has not and will no forsake us.

Yolanda, sorry to hear about your health issues. Just an observation I have made watching the show is that you are frequently fasting and I find it troubling that you are encouraging your daughter to fast as well. When Gigi called you when you were at the doctor it was because she felt like she was going to faint so she said she ate half an almond. Your response was to tell her to make sure to really chew that almond. The scene when you and Gigi are having a talk on the couch about her future and your past etc you say you get sad because you will miss her when she goes to college. You and her were both eating salad (quite ravenously). It looked something like this: I'm sad I won't get to see you but I'm too hungry to care about that right now.

You say it makes you so proud to see Gigi modeling because you see a better version of yourself. Maybe you were never at the top of the modeling food chain, but it seems you so wish that you could live your modeling dreams through Gigi. Why not tell your daughter she is beautiful whether she is a model or not. Modeling is not a measure of success or beauty! In fairness to you, you are very accomplished and successful at marrying wealthy men.  Not too sure many women have talents of your caliber so it's a really good thing Gigi is going to college and you should be quite proud of her.

Yolanda why did you feel the need to call Lisa out about being acting like Brandi's mother?! Why would you even make a comment on that?!  The dynamic of Brandi and Lisa's friendship is known of your business!! Period! And I feel really bad for you children that they had to hear your best friend accuse their father of making such vulgar nasty comments about a woman's kitty kat..... Disgusting! Brandi is reckless!! Maybe that is why Lisa feels the need to mother Brandi?!  Not that it is any of your business!!!

Oh Yolanda, Brandi can be playful with words as much as she like and you might be able to accept that  but, if you are in a group of people having lunch and clearly you guys are not really friends, you don't use words like the F word and the C word. You call yourself a classy lady? Nah ah.. your true color is coming out. Its right for Lisa to call Brandi out! That is really a classy one, right there!

 I agree. I hope Yolanda gets better but at the same time, if you have the time to tell us you don't have the time, then you did have the time in the first place!

I think it odd it happened the same week that Brandi blurts out  to world that Yo's ex husband talked smack about another woman's body parts...to Brandi of all people!

Yolanda cannot afford to be associated with that type of behavior and especially her husband David! What a disgrace! Think of the shame...

 @Sunshinekisses

 I thought it was really sad that Gigi was so hungry that she felt faint and only ate 1/2 an almond.  WTF? Why would a mother support her fasting to the point of fainting?  She should EAT something and be proud of the body she has on a healthy diet!

twiddledeedum

 @piperbeau

 She didn't call Lisa on anything. They were having a conversation and it was good input for Lisa because it is true. Lisa loves Brandi but she feels responsible for everything Brandi says. I thought it was good advice. The dynamics between Brandi and Lisa are more Yolanda's business than yours. You don't even know  what was said thru out the dinner. Yolanda nor Lisa are responsible for what Brandi said. First you complain YO has no business in their relationship and then you tell Yo to interfere with Brandi. Confused and sad.

Hulali
Hulali

 @piperbeau

 I agree.  Yolanda reprimanded Lisa for commenting on Brandi's behavior (which was vulgar) is the same thing!  Lisa is not Brandi's moral guide (ie mother) and Yolanda is not Lisa's either!

 @Bernie-mate Lisa was spot on....who talks like that or calls another women who just met the C word.  I would have thrown her out of my house.

 @Bernie-mate Yolanda was right to say Brandi is a big girl and she doesn't need to be mothered by Lisa, I agree if the host is offended the host should squash the language , if you are offended you should mute the show or not watch it.

myfairlady12

 @Bigwednesday  @jan.mackay.338 Yolanda did NOTHING wrong - Brandi's the big mouth that started all the trouble!

And there's a big difference between writing she can't blog than having to put all her thoughts together and write about what she was feeling at the time, months later while she is so obviously sick with Lyme's disease which affects the brain. Cut her some slack!

Sunshinekisses
Sunshinekisses

 @Hulali  I know! Seriously. I thought the same thing. Mothers are supposed to protect their children, not encourage them to make unhealthy choices.

 I think Yolanda is a lot smarter than you might think. She doesn't want to feed into recent episodes and certainly not recent news. She is realizing her on air friendship with Brandi might be toxic.

A combination of being tired from the illness and seriously not wanting to deal with her reality life is closer to the truth.
