I first want to say a quick thank you to all the Housewives fans who have reached out to me with such kind words and generous support of Project Ladybug. This foundation is truly my life’s passion and is a huge reason why I decided to do this crazy show in the first place. So a HUGE thank you to all of you!!! XOXO.
Next I would like to thank Bravo for this opportunity to blog. If you are true Housewives fan as I am, you will know that each and every housewife has what I like to call her “asshole” episode. You know what I am talking about people. Even Mother Teresa would look like a jerk in at least one of the shows. I am grateful that we at least have the chance to explain ourselves! LOL.
So with that said, here it goes...
Episode 1. Well, here are in all of our blazing glory, The Jersey Girls. We are, in fact, a rare breed. We say what’s on our mind and make no apologies for it. I think it’s refreshing. I have a good friend that has lived in many parts of the country, and when she moved here to Jersey we became very close. She told me what she loved so much about living here is that “you never have to worry what a Jersey girl is thinking, 'cause usually they're going to let you know." I think I quoted her in the show at one point. She couldn’t be more on target, and I think it’s refreshing.

Hoping that as you read this email it will find your family and you in the best of health thanks to God. I just wanted to let you know that you are a very beautiful lady and I am so happy to see that you come from a very strong and together family. I come from a family of 8brothers and 7sisters and it is the best thing ever, we love to see you and were sad to see you leave, it should have been Danielle that should have left, she just makes the show sooooo trashy looking. Dina I would like to Thank you for Visiting My friend Samantha Womack in Sloan Kettering last Wenesday. It meant a lot to us. You are a great woman and what you do with the ladiebug cause is a great thing, I just a house wife from Astoria New York that makes chocolate if you need anything for your fund raisers just ask. I will and would like to help if you need it. I also would like to add, We miss you on the show, and I hope to see you back on soon. Keep up all your good work and God Bless you and your daughter. since i start watching the realhouse wives of new jersey i love it its my favorite. i wont watch any the others i like all the ladys but not danielle cant stend her.

Dina, I think You are amazing.. I took this "What Housewfie Would You Be" quiz.....I am like you. SOOOhappy about that. Worst case scenario was that, of all the Housewife shows, I would be Danielle. She is a whole lot of crazy, as Caroline stated.

The boy's name is Matthew McKinney. He lost part of his face to this infection and had plastic surgery to repair it.
You were so right to worry about your daughter swimming in strange waters.

You seem like a very generous, open heart person who supports her family whole heartedly. I am currently going through the same type of problems you are with your daughter (Boys, wanting to go out with friends, etc). My daughter is 12 going on to 16. Unfortunately she fights alot with us because we don't have a lot of money and are financially in trouble. My daughter doesn;t understand this and thinks she should still be able to get all these different things. It ain't gonna happen when I can't even pay bills. If you have any advice please let me know. You seem to be the type that would be good at advice along with your sister Caroline. The site asked for my e-mail so you can get it through them. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Dina, the question that has been on my mind ever since part 2 of the finale is "Why would you forgive Danielle for what she did?" I mean she made your sister cry, so she must have tryed to do something bad. I wouldn't even want to look at someone who would do such a thing. Oh, and I dont think what ur daughter, Lexi, said about hating it if she had a fat old mom, was a bad thing, because I am the same age and I understand what she meant. You are my favorite housewife on the show.

I love you and your sister you guys are the best. I really admire you guys for the way you guys get alone and how strong your relationship is. Your parents did a very good job raising you guys they must be very proud how you and your sister Caroline carried yourselves. Danielle is just jealous of you because she doesn't have a loving and supported family like you do.
Hi Dina~ I'm interested in what you do for the children with Cancer their in the East. I was Born in Brick, NJ..However, raised in Calif. I live in Murrieta, Ca Near San Diego. I was hoping & wondering if you will branch out your charity work to So. Calif?. I would like to represent your cause which is close to my heart out here in my area. What can I do to help.& become part of your great charity for these beautiful children who are also suffering out here?.

You were my favorite housewife and NJ Housewives is my favorite reality show. There were no phonies in this show. You are a great mother and maybe some women, out there, could learn from you! I am from NJ and Italian and I understand the closeness of your family.

I love your show and mostly your family and one day I would like to have one like you do. I am not italian, but russian/armenian orthodox, however I think there're a lot of similarities between us, our temper, our passions and the love we have for each other. I am finishing my education to be a doctor ( one year away). I really want to know how you were able to become so successfull and have such loving husbanbds? Please adopt me! Joking - I have a small family in Philly! Please I want to be a part of it, maybe very small. But I do need your energy and your passion for life. I love you guys - you're just like my family (although my father passed away, so I only have my mom and my brother). I think italians and russians/armenians showed be friends. I just don't see people like us in allentown, pa. Tell me where should I move? I help to treat your families as a family doctor. I am not carzy, but I just felt certain connection.. ( I did have an italian bf in the past, so... I have some ideas)
Dina, I absolutely adore you... I actually adore each of you in your own way. I did not follow the show at all until now that they are marathoning the episodes. I have gotten such a kick out of this show and it is because your family is so easy to embrace being a Jersey Girl myself, Bergen County at that.
I'm familiar with the Brownstone from functions my family has held there..I've always said I will get married there...I think you & your family are great don't change keep being the same glorious Jersey Girls!!

I love the show. I can't get enough of it. I grew up just over the border in NY and can relate to many of the things done and said on the show. I moved south 5 years ago and find this show a great place to come home to when I am missing everyone back home.

Dina I like you and remember your wedding to Tommy. Was the Brownstone origianally called The Westgate? It looks familiar and my friend owned a place like that.

BUL1SH*T !!!! do not change!! my name is Deanna (people call me dina all the time) and my daughter's name is alexis, i call her lexi... i have huge boobs too (and im italian), anyway, we laughed so hard at the "wear two bras next time" (cuz i have actually done that out of necessity honestly) and "im sweatin my balls off lexi, what do you want me to do?" we say it back and forth too each other all the time... who cares what all the stuck up soccer moms say..... keep being you.. cuz there are plenty of us blunt, call it like we see it girls out there !!!! WE ROCK!!!!
Real Housewives has been my guilty pleasure since the "early days". This season is especially fun since Franklin Lakes, Wyckoff, and Paramus are my old stomping ground. It's great to see how much the area has changed...and stayed the same. Jersey Girls RAWK!
Has anyone else who reads The "Real Housewives" blogs noticed that the people who write to, specifically, the NJ housewives have extremely poor grammar, spelling and punctuation? Just sayin'!
Dina- I love you and your family. Your sister Caroline is an amazing person as well. You are so lucky to have each other to look out for and be friends with. You don't have to let everyone in your group. Some are too FAKE and are looking to connect to your family to make themselves be someone. Don't fall for it. Stay as fantastic as you are. Kathy

Love this show!!! To Joy, I believe the girls (Caroline and Dina) married brothers. Which is why they would both have the same last name :)
Dina ~ I absolutely love the closeness that you have between your sister and your family. Although you say you didn't agree with Teresa's assessment of your family, I think she was right on point. Guess what? There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with being a hard family to get into -- what better way to weed out the fake people? (I think you know who I'm referring to here.) I would be so proud to know that my in-laws had my back and were trying to keep people like D from wreaking havoc on it. I hope future episodes shows T kicking D to the curb.
I think that you showed your true colors at the birthday party when you allowed D to actually hug you. You realized that it was a b-day party and didn't want to make a scene - very nice - I know you handled it much better than I ever would, and your actions were commendable. I think that the follow up "spa" day was just the reality check Ms. D needed (and your fans).
I hope that everything works out for your career, I'm pulling for you!

I think Danielle is right about you. She must have something on you or why would you be treating her the way you do? Just wanted to tell you, that you are not all that. Your stuck up and if you didn't marry your rich sister's husband you wouldn't have s--t!!! Try to change your evil ways.

What you said about Jersey girls is so true and I love it. Not only do I watch the show cause I'm from NJ but it's interesting to see how the other half lives. I'm also in the Hospitality business and am thinking about going into event planning and catering so I find it interesting to watch and see how you guys deal with the stress of running a huge very well known banquet hall like the Brownstone. I just hope you give us Jersey girls a good name and not let people think of us in a bad light.
Dina- I love you. But, I'm confused about why you and Caroline have the last name Manzo- you didn't change your names when you got married? Caroline calls her daughter "Lauren Manzo" at some point in episode 2? But if Manzo is Caroline's maiden name, did Lauren take Caroline's last name? Maybe it's none of my business. But I'm curious. Can you explain?

Dina, please why you hate so much daniell? you should remember that you were in her situation in the pass, the only thing is thet you sister fill sorry for you, an make you married her brother. because you dint have a pot to piss-on. ok you know an everybody knows that you husband have another women in italy. thats what italians do. give-you-everything because he dosen want to herd form you. so he do what men do best, keep you on-line, an you knows that so drop the act. an daniell is better then you!!!! ok!!!

I am already so addicted the the show this season. I watch very little tv but this is one that will definetly watch every week. I remember seeing the wedding show you were on a while back. When your husband kept inviting more and more people......loved it, loved it, loved it!

Dina-I think this is going to be my favorite show. You got to do what you got to do. As for Danielle she is just jealous. If you ask me I think she want to be you. I mean who wouldn't. As to wear you as last year's Verasce, can she even afford last year's?????
I love the housewifes of New Jersey. They seem like real people that I can relate too. I am tire of the plastic faces and big boob jobs from the OC gals and the backstabbing from the NY gals. Atlanta you can shelve they were boring.....
