Season 1
Can you believe Season 2 is finally here? There are more episodes in this season, so you’ll get to see more of us, and more of our families. And that’s really what it’s all about: family. I think that’s why people like our show - because they can relate to us - the good and the bad. I’ve met so many of you, viewers and fans, and I can certainly relate to you. (And can I just say, the Jersey Housewives have the most gorgeous fans? I’ve seen your Twitter and Facebook profile pictures - wow! One gorgeous girl and guy after another!) You have all touched my heart. I’m so happy I can be a part of your family too.
I had two big family blessings this year. First of course was my beautiful baby Audriana - who you’ll meet in an episode very soon! And my first book which finally come out TODAY! Family tradition is very important to me. A lot of our family time, our culture, and our love revolves around being in the kitchen. I learned to cook from my mom, and I cook homemade meals for my family almost every night. I’ve been collecting my mom’s recipes, tips, tricks and secrets from the Old World for healthy Italian living for years. I finally wrote them down to pass on to my kids, and the result is Skinny Italian. It’s a love letter to my mom. It’s full of full-color photographs, over 60 family recipes straight from Salerno, and of course, a bit of behind-the-scenes gossip thrown in. You can get it at your local bookstore, Target or Costco. You can read excerpts and see inside the book at my website: www.teresagiudice.com.
I know we left last season with a big bang, and of course things get crazy this season too, (or it wouldn’t be on Bravo, would it?) but it was nice to open with so many happy scenes and catch up with everyone.
How adorable is Nicholas? Watching Jacqueline’s baby dreams come true after so much heartbreak, and watching how it brought her whole family closer together was really amazing. It was also great to see Caroline’s husband Albert so fit. We see him every day, so the clips of last year and this year were really shocking. What a transformation! Good for him!
I just like you. I like your blogs, with brutal honesty, I like your sense of humor, I like the way you love and appreciate your family. There is something very warm and nurturing about you. You also seem to be a good, fun person. So I wish you the best in your life and hope that you have a great success with your first book.
Teresa ,I just wanted to say congrats on the baby and how much I love to see you with your family . You are truly blessed . You aired in the first episode of the new season making sauce with your family and I thought it was great . To keep family tradition and to pass it on to your girls is something special . I'm not Italian but I pass on everything from my culture to my children . They are also taught of my husband's culture and they are busy learning both languages . This is something that is so needed in this day . To teach our children of their roots and family is so important and I just wanted to compliment you on doing so . And I have to say that when I see you on tv I really feel like you're the only real one on the show . Given I don't know the other ladies but you really speak as you feel . I can see you don't let people put words in your mouth for sake of making a better show . And You are the picture of a real mom, doing it all your self , running a home , raising children , and taking care of your husband . So many women go out and hire staff but I'm glad you didn't . It's hard to do it all and help would be nice (take it from me , I too am a one woman show in our home) but your family and children will appreciate it all when they are older . Plus our mamas did it why can't we ? Can't wait to see more of you this season and I hope all goes well wtih the book . I wish you and your family all of the best .
Some people in this world need more support than others. Some people in this world are not as blessed. The tragic flaw you possess is the inability to come down off your self built pedastool and extend an olive branch or at least have the common sense to not talk trash on someone 24/7. Your behavior was appauling at Caroline's benefit. I never speak of people I dislike in such a way, I simply move on and do not associate with them. If something horrible happens to them I usually end up feelin gbad for them. Life is too short to be consumed in others affairs. You really need to take a hard look in the mirror and stop the self praise. Its disgusting. Who knows one day perhaps you will be down and out in such a way that all those people you cast down from your oh s special circle will seem more familiar than ever.
We have only ourselves to blame for our choices, good or bad. From what I can see you are doing your best to become an unlikable person on screen.
I need to say, when i found out the HOusewives of Jersey was coming back, I cleared my calendar for every Monday night!! I love Theresa, and het girls are beautiful and full of life. I hope oneday i am blessed with such smart and beautiful children. All of you except for Danielle seem to be so family oriented, and stuick together. I admire your values and look forward to getting your book. I am a grrek girl who married an Italian, so i could use some pointers! lol..
Teresa, Im so glad you spoke the truth on Danielle, and you have no remorse for accepting destruction in your life and all of her drama! although, I was a bit shocked seeing your daughters reference to the Jewish culture...coming out of an 8 year olds mouth means she heard it somewhere within her home from parents.
Teresa, You crack me up!! Love the making tomatoe sauce scene and love your daughters, their extremely funny on their "talks about marriage". By the way, I think you look great after having three kids. Keep em coming. Good luck to you and can't wait to see this seasons Danielle Drame..LOL
i couldnt believe danielles blog. oh geez. but for you ladies to even comment on that would give her what she wants so my suggestion is to live it alone. i absolutley LOVE the rest of you ladies and commend you on your marriages and the way you all raise your children. you are true ladies. my family is ALOT like yours. we laugh, fight, cry...but all TOGETHER. we can fight like cats and dogs but it doesnt mean we wont hug goodbye. i just adored your parents! i have a facisnation with italy and the history and the culture ... just its beauty. i think it is wonderful that you are handing down those old school traditions to your beautiful girls. keep on making us jersey girls proud teresa!!
Congrats on your book & your beautiful new daughter! So glad to read your blog & see that it wasn't filled with venom like Danielle's blog. She certainly tells her own tale and her real self shines through. Hopefully, you can keep your distance from her & fill your life what truly matters. I look forward to seeing all of you rise above her wrath. You, go, girl!
First off... congratulations! You must be so proud. I look forward to seeing your little bambino be part of the cast.
Secondly - all Italians I know are devout church goers... almost to a fault, but in a good way. I know many Italians and even dated an Italian/Sicilian (a deadly combination... at least for me!) for several years. He bought me an Italian Horn one year to protect me from malocchio (forgive me if I didn't spell that right.
Thirdly - I take pity on Danielle. All I can say is what goes around, comes around. And, on a sidenote... I did catch you trying to get around the Bravo censors when you made reference to Danielle by saying (paraphrase) "she is the 'cont' in 'controversy". Maybe I have a dirty mind, but it did not go unnoticed by me!
Looking forward to more and can't wait to see your baby!
I love love love your husband. He just seems like a man's man and is all about his wife and his girls and I love it.
Teresa, you have got to be the funniest housewife in history! I love how you are an old-fashioned housewife but still do the glitz and glamour! the other series could learn from you, Dina, Caroline and Jaqueline! Stay funny!!!!
Theresa your baby is beautiful, check out my baby boutique I would love to make her something. www.thedazzlediva.com
You're amazing and I have pre-ordered your book!! Thank you for taking the time to share it with others. Love from Naples, FL
I always look forward to reading what you have to say and hearing what you have to say on the show! I can only hope that my husband and I can carry on a relationship like you and the other girls have on the show with your hubbies :) Stay true to yourself! xoxo
Teresa, you never disappoint! I love your daughters and whole family now that we got to meet your parents. I can't wait to get your book later today, I'm obsessed with all things traditional and can't wait to add it to my collection! Danielle wants to make a big deal about a pony, of all the things she should be worried about? That scene was hilarious and a perfect compliment to talking about Joe wanting a boy, as he's cramming a huge pink horse in a dumpster. Something tells me he's meant to take care of you and your precious girls and loves every minute of it! Take care and good luck with the book! Can't wait for next week!
Love you! Can't wait to see your baby.. This season is going to be great i can already tell, crazy but great.Love your girls they are too cute & a trip. Wish you luck & screw Danielle!
Hey Teresas Ive been a fan since season 1 and I completely agree you have a beautiful family God Bless they just seem so wonderful. I also agree about Danielle Her girls are so beautiful and so smart they need a chance to have an actual childhood not being their mother's bestfriends I mean their are good things about having a good healthy open communication with your kids but there has to be a boundrary because at the end of the day they are still just kids they dont need to deal with adult issues no matter how mature they seem. Anyways just wanted to show you some love I love the show and Im getting the book Congrats on ur new addition.
BRAVO!!!Great response to the cychotic woman whom shall remain nameless..I am sadened as are you for her children..My only prediction for the future is that they will have their fill of their mother and distance themselves from her..anyways, I felt that your blog was what positivity is all about, and you only allowed the last few sentences to address the previous blog..once again..BRAVO to you!
Just one comment...How cute are your girls? As the mom of two boys what I wouldnt give for girls and their accessories! So funny that your daughter had her purse in the car for school. Love, Love, Love her!
Teresa, I loved watching you and your family. You're right, that's the best part of the show. Some of the comments you made about Danielle bothered me a little because I felt they were beneath you, but you were hormonal so I understand. My only advice would be to try and watch what you say a little. But I'm so excited the show is back!
I don't ever see anyone working except Albie. How do the guys make their money, and why are the young adults just lazing around?
I hope this gets posted! Teresa, I'm first generation Italian and know the whole tomato sauce making thing...love it and our at times, embarrassing parents! Danielle has clearly lost it...very sad truthfully to see someone so dillusional. Her blog is full of hate...deep, deep hate. I hope you don't carry on too much about her, it seems as though in episode 1, you and Caroline are too interested in what she is up to. I would hate to see you (or Caroline)go down that road. Danielle needs serious professional help...I'd be scared if I were you or any of the other housewives. Oh and congratulations on the new baby!
Teresa -- loved the scene with the red sauce! I remember spending summers with my Nana watching her cook. Wish I had thought to write down the recipes before she passed away. She had a real german deli in Brooklyn, NY and was an incredible cook. Your girls may not realize now how important it is ... but they will when they get older.
Congrats on the arrival of your new little one ... best of health and happiness ...
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE You and your family!!! It IS all about family, and that's why I love this housewives best of all! My husband's family is from Palermo in Cicily... For us is is all about the family getting together at Easter and doing the homemade raviolis!!!! I have shared with them our Irish traditions of Corned Beef and Cabbage--- Family is our port in a storm.---Stay strong, because I know that you might get some backlash from Danielle fans---She SERIOUSLY needs some help! She keeps saying that she doesn't care, but her actions speak way louder... You and the Manzos ROCK!
I love your family. It's so much fun to see what they will do nest. Four girls WOW your hubbie better watch out! Or shoud I say the future boy friends better watch out!!!! thanks for sharing yourself and family with us... Wishing you all the best in the world!!!!
Teresa...you truly are a class act! Love you, love the show. I just have one question? Why in the world is Danielle on this show? She is clearly deranged! :)
I so so so so loved this Season Premiere, you and your girls were in all my favorites parts... The I don't wanna marry a Jewish person was Classic.. You can't write that line.... They are as beautiful as You and Joe... Loved the sauce scene and that giggle over the pig in lipstick JOKE.. hilarious.. Can't wait to go and get the book today I needed a reason to hit up Costco.. lots of love
I love you Teresa!!! I am 100% Italian, and love my heritage. You are the best, you kick a--, and I love that best about you! You are awesome!!! I can't get enough of the show. I know it's non-classier of me to say, but I hope this season you kick Danielle a--. I don't know you all put up with her? Congrats on the baby and god bless. You are and always will be a VERY classier lady!!!
Just ordered your new cookbook after looking at cookbooks on Amazon your recipes looked to be the best new ones coming out.GOOD LUCK!!!
Teresa,
I must say you are my fave housewife of all the RHW franchises! You are so hilarious to watch and you keep me smiling! I am off to buy your book today! :-)
Creating moments like making the red sauce, is so great! You are a great mother and remind me of being a kid and making pasta with my mimi "grandmother", Love your family!
First of all- thank you for returning- I love this show! You have nothing to apologize about- although I am not Italian- but German (born and raised in northern Germany-came to the US in 1993!) I act just like you when I feel that someone is B'ssing me and I feel threatened and mostly when I feel , that someone is threatening my family ! Up until the last Show of Season one I did believe Caroline and Dina and you , but still I felt sad for Danielle! Well- needless to say- all that changed last night! Seeing her frightened daughter so distraught and in sheer fear about her intolerable behaviour made me mad- I am a mother of three- typical hot blood European and very protective of the innocent and the helpless- maybe not that different than any American mom- lol but just to point out there- Europeans do put it a notch up there and they'll protect and they get really mad! Well, if Danielle reads this- I do believe there is something very wrong you- sure we all have a past- but most of us learn from it- seems you thrive on all the drama and on the cost of both your kids. Theresa....your family is beautiful- I enjoy your hot blooded outbursts...don't worry- we are strong and protective moms....who if not we will stand up for our kids and family? Be safe and take care and thank you for a wonderful show- I know I have always wanted to be italian and belong to a big and warm and kind and strong italian family like yours! Keep it up- family is so important! Love and hugs and congrats to you and Jacqueline to the babies and all the best to Caroline and Dina as well!
Ciao, from Judith!!!
Teresa,
You and Caroline are my favorites (although I have much love for Dina and Jacqueline). I also agree with what you had to say about Danielle. I found it extremely disturbing...like watching a crazy person about to "go postal". It is obvious that Danielle suffers from low-self esteem...so has any one offered to get her psychological help? It's true what they say...other people can't love you unless you love yourself. Also, weren't you concerned that Danielle's "friend" was ratting her out/trash talking her at the event? I was more in agreement with what Dina had to say about that.
Theresa, I have to admit I liked you better last year. You seem pretty nasty this year, what happened?
TERESA I THINK YOU HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS I HAVE EVER SEEN! I THINK YOU ARE A FANTASTIC MOTHER, AND I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ON THE SHOW. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS TO YOU AND YOURS ;)
Teresa...my husband and I watch the show together and we LOVE your family! We were laughing in tears with the scene of your little girl in the pantry packing her food for day! She is SO adorable...she wasn't about to go hungry!!! Congratulations to all the new things in your life!
Great show last night. I was counting down the minutes until it came on. I can't wait to see what else is in store for us. I loved the part when you and your family was making the red sauce. How blessed you are in your life.
I agree with you about Danielle. She is really out there. I couldn't believe she was going to spy on Caroline's party. What an idiot. I don't like her and don't believe a word she says. I have no idea what Jacqueline ever saw in her but I hope she respects her husband's wishes and stays away from her!!
You are so much fun to watch! And I love the relationship you have with your husband. You are so much fun, but your kids just make me die laughing. Your oldest girl is like an adult in a kids body! I love you all...well except for the one that's 10 times crazy! She shouldn't be on there at all. She's a waste of time though I can't help but feel sorry for her kids. And I hope Jaqueline gets the message this year...and it's not about family vs friends, it's that she is crazy and destructive and not a friend and J has better things going on than to deal with her. Friends don't keep friends away from family that loves them...the girl needs help but she has to help herself. Love you T!

Well said Teresa! Can't wait for the book...SUPER excited!! ;)
