Caroline Manzo

Did It Snow in Hell?

Caroline shares why she was so emotional about Chris and Albie's departure.

May 16, 2011

I want to take a moment to welcome Kathy and Melissa into our madness! I think they bring a very interesting dynamic to the show, so let's show them some love!

I just want to say a quick thank you to each and every one of you for watching week after week and making us part of your lives. Without you we would be nothing, and I need you to know that I recognize that fact and am truly grateful to you all. You're the best!

That's it for now I suppose. Thank you for watching, and I'll talk to you next week!

Xoxo,

C.

We missed you so much...so nice to see you again......your looking great and as always "you are one class act" Love Ya....Hugs

Caroline,

I love you and you always give the ladies great advice.

LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU.

Barb

Wow. Of everyone, I thought you would show Teresa some loyalty.

No more southern cooking please!

What an amazing mother/person you are. I cried watching you and the boys in their apartment, thinking of my little 4 year old son - I am dreading the day. You are a class act!

Hey Caroline, You look so amazing this season! I'm sorry to hear your boys are moving out aleast you still have Lauren. I think you and the new cast Kathy will make friends fast she seems to be sweet and kind. I hope you have a great season !

I was so looking forward to ths new season w/o Danielle but she's been replaced by something worst Teresa's brother and sister in-law. Sorry it's obvious that Melissa is a media whore that is constantly in her husband's ear about his sister.

Every comment or remark was ugly and demeaning of Theresa,it's so obvious that she's jealous of her. When you spend so much time pointing out someone else',it's really jut pointing out you have a problem.

Melissa has a problem she wants to be Teresa, and her husband wants to be Joe.

I know you'll be back next season and I'll return then.

I think you are the tops, you allow your kids to grow while always letting them know you love them, and support them.

Awesome !

I feel your pain. My boys are 11and14 and they're great boys and I treasure the time I have left with them. You want your kids to grow and be confident and independant but yet need you terribly. Funny how that works...any tips on handling that?

Love watching you and your family. We need that relatable loving family to counteract the crazy. I wish I had your family! I appreciate what you have. Not the house, or the stuff, but the family life.

Caroline you are such a strong person I like how u keep the family together you remind me of my grandma she is what keeps our family together.

Hi Caroline, I love you on the show. The Brownstone is literally down the street from my mom's house. I grew up in Haledon, so I'm very familiar with all the events held there throughout the years. :) I remember the brownstone prior to the new parking lot.. when all the cars where parked near the gas station (used to be Amaco gas at one point in time).

Love your family and your boys and how you keep it real! Don't mess with Caroline. je..je.je. Love that Italian cooking.

Best of luck in all that you do! Cindy

Caroline, I just want to say that all three of your children are amazing, and you are the one to thank for that. It really touched me when Lauren was talking about fantasizing about her wedding. Such an amazing time in a girls life. And she seems to have a really good head on her shoulders. You should be proud!

You're the best Caroline... you should be emotional with your sons moving out. You're a great mom and it shows!

Welcome back Caroline!!! I have to start this by saying that Christopher had my daughter and I laughing tonight. He is so funny!!! Watching your family reminds me so much of the relationship my husband and I have with our girls. That being said I have to tell you that I will feel the same way when it is time for my girls to leave the nest. It is hard enough now because two of my girls are away at school while one is at home going to school. When they are all home together I actually look forward to all the laundry and cooking. My friends think I'm crazy, but I enjoy it!!! I stayed at home to raise my girls and I would not change it for the world!! I love watching you and your family together, it makes me smile. Though I do have to say when you cry, I cry. It's contagious!!! Thank you for being you, and for sharing your wonderful family with us. I am glad to see there are other families who are conventional, but unconventional out there just like mine!!! Good luck to you and your family!!! Mom of 3 girls XOXO

There are plenty of Italians in the South , who cook great food and started restaurants. Not all of us live in cabins with a dirt floor. I'm glad Chris has a bigger world view.

Dear Caroline, I just love your whole family, their so funny and joking around with one another. That is how my family is also. Unfortunatly i have lost a son at 11 yrs. old from complicatioins of being born pre-mature and I just lost a daughter at the age 0f 16. She had leukemia. So right now I have two daughters left on is 23 and the other is 18 and after tonights show I said you guys could be like albie and his brother and move in together like them. Love you all, ask Dina if she could send me something from ger cherity ladybugs, I would like to purchase a t-shirt from her to help kids with cancer. As my daughter passed away from cancer. Love Carol from Arkansas

You look ah-mazing!!!!!!!! So beautiful!!!! Keep it up!!!

I am so happy your back you are the best housewife

I love you, Caroline! It's great to see you on TV again (and you look so skinny!!! good for you!!). Glad all is going so well, even if your boys are leaving the nest.

Caroline, you look fabulous! I feel your pain. My nest is empty too and its been a difficult adjustment for me. I still want to tempt them to come back home. But I know I have to let go, just like you. Good Job. We love you!

You are awesome! I love you and your family. You're the reason I watch! I was hoping for a season of the new jersey housewives we've grown to love (minus Danielle of course) and hoping your sister would return! Instead, we got Teresa's sister in-law! Another Danielle !?! Why would you let bravo do that to you guys? Sorry you have to put up with more crazy drama, another piece of garbage to throw out! Glad you are refreshing to watch and see a normal family that loved each other and respects! Are you the only one left in new jersey that has any values?

Caroline, you are my all time favorite housewife. I enjoy watching the dynamic between you and your family. The love and bond between you and your children is so evident and so beautiful. It reminds me so much of my relationship with my parents. Can't wait to see more of you in season 3 :).

Caroline,

I like you because you are the most sensible of anybody on this whole cast. You are absolutely right.

You are the best. You are still the favorite because you are the real deal.

I have rebuff your comments about people in the south cooking pasta. We don't come down from the mountains. There are so many gourmet chefs in the south. You blew it. I never expected such a opinion from you. You've always been my favorite but now I may have no favorites in New Jersey.

It's great to have you guys back! I was kinda hoping that Dina would be back. I know the Guidice/Gorga family dynamics makes for "good TV", but I love watching you and your family. I love watching the interactions of a happy family making adjusts as children grow up and move out.

I think TV can be interesting without fighting and sniping. Just a thought.

Can't wait to see the rest of this season!!

Hell yes we miss yall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how many viewers from Arkansas changed the channel tonight?? I'm from Arkansas and actually have a simple and amazing cobbler recipe I got from Elmer Fudd. Holy crap!! I can even use a computer =)

Welcome back, Caroline! Season 3 looks like it's going to be great. Can't wait to see what you ladies have in store for us!

Caroline,

You're always the voice of reasoning,but...this time it ain't gonna cut it.

After watching tonight, I have to say that I won't be able to continue supporting the program. That Joey guy...what a piece of work. To witness his assnine ways - at his own son's christening - well, it's proven too much for me. HE was the one that started the "stuff"; HE was the one yelling, screaming, drinking.

I was truly looking forward to a no-drama, Danielle-less season. At this point, I'd much rather have Danielle back than all the Joeys, Melissas and Kathys in the world.

Have a good season.

Caroline, I am a Southern girl born and bred. That being said, I come from a very large Italian family. We are taught from birth how to make pasta from scratch, as well as, fried chicken. As a southern Italian, I come from the best of both worlds. You should come down South and try some real southern comfort food. I think you would enjoy it.

Your portion of the show was refreshing, even through the saddness of the empty nest, in comparison to the turmoil of the christening. All in all, the first episode proved to be one gigantic tear jerker due to your sons leaving, Ashley and Jacqueline's heated argument and the chaos at the christening. I can faintly hear the snickers of Danielle Staub in the faraway distance over Theresa's family's catastrophe! I think she must be tickled pink, sad to say. I'm hoping you continue to stay with the show as you seem to be the only voice of reason among so many screams of insanity. Thanks for being you, Caroline.

Nobody is missing what's her name now! I'm so glad you all are back!

I was so sad to see your boys go, if you were my mom, I'd never leave! You guys are too much fun to watch! Keep on with the positive thinking!

Its very painfull to watch your kids leave. I spent years trying to recover myself, I had lost myself in being their mother. Enjoy your new found freedom to be Al's wife!!!!

I hope that things all work out for each and every one of you, personally Caroline, your the best mom on the show! God bless :)

Without us, your fans, you would be nothing?! Caroline?! That is so SO NOT TRUE! You are very much Something and why we love you. Got it? I know, you didn't really mean you "would be nothing".....I know that.....we all know that. You are a great mom, you know that, a beautiful mom, you know that, and we love you.....hope you know that too. :-)

Oh Caroline! Yes, yes, yes I missed you all!!!!! I was so happy to sit down tonight with my Coke and popcorn to watch my best friends from New Jersey and find out what's been going on up there in yankee-land! I am a southern fried Louisiana grandma and you are right..I can't cook Italian worth a damn!!! I was worried that with Danielle gone (thank God and greyhound), they couldn't find anyone so easy to hate. (Well, "hate" is too harsh but you know what I mean). NOT, that I am going to "hate" Melissa and Kathy..but it's gonna be an interesting ride to watch Theresa and Melissa...I can relate to you losing your boys at once..my older two also moved in together until they married..at the same time. But like you, I still had my one little rooster in the nest (and you have your little chick) for awhile longer...am looking forward to watching the Manzos and all the rest of y'all as you live your lives in front of all of us..you are BRAVE!!! Love to you all...

I truly did miss you ladies. Your family is so loving and so real. A true treat. I can't say anything nice about the new women so I won't say anything. Welcome back :)

People in Arksansas open jars to cook and "mountain people" don't know how to cook, really? That's like saying all Italians from Jersey are mobsters.

I guys are the best! I have been counting down the days until I get to see all of you. I am glad the "garbage" is gone. I do miss Dina, but I do get to see my 3 fave ladies. I love how you keep it real. The realest Housewives yet. You remind me of my family., but we are broke ass people. I worry when I spend $20 on 1 pair of pants. LoL! You are truly blessed! Keep up the great work for making me feel part of your family and world. God bless you and your families ladies! Much respect, Brandy A. (From Bebton Harbor, Michigan)

You are such a great role model!! I only have one son, one daughter and my daughter flew the nest already!! She will be 25 in Sept and has moved out since college. It broke my heart that she went right into an apt after college, but had to remind myself that I raised her to be independent! Just at that point I wished she wasnt that independant! LOL! I love watching you! Thanks!

You have always been my favorite, since we both have 2 boys and a girl who are all the same age. But tonight you really offended me with your characterizations. You got really offended with all the mafia assumptions the first season and here you are putting "Southern Folks" into that same box. I am from Georgia and while I grew up on strictly southern food, as a Mom, I make Italiano all the time....from scratch honey!! Just because we KNOW southern food doesnt mean we don't know anything else. It was just unflattering to hear that coming from you, someone I respected. Why does there have to be a competition?

You, Jacqueline, and Teresa look fabulous! Welcome back!! Finally one of the good tv shows is back on tv!

Caroline! I love how grounded you are and how at ease you make me feel! Thank you!

HUGS .. I dread the day my son moves out to be on his own. I'll be proud of him but will miss him so much.

HUGS HUGS HUGS and many more HUGS

Caroline, as always you are the best, the most genuine, and the most level headed. So happy to have you and your incredible family back on TV.

All the best to you and your family.

C I think you are the most level headed of the NJHW. Yes I am Irish and family comes first. There are only three of four children left in my immediate family and we don’t live near each other but we talk two to three times a day. Love you your a great mother and friend.

so disappointed in christophers behavior and your response. If some one made fun of italians, their speach, culture and cooking ability I am sure you would have stepped up. To demean a culture different then your own is...low brow and classless, in fact the whole eposode left much to be desired...so nj housewives goodbye

Love it when y'all try to talk like the "Southern People", I thought that was so funny. You should hear us try to imitate people from the north. Love the show. The Jersey Wives is the only one that I don't want to miss an episode.
