Now We Know Melissa Gorga's "Fav" Date-Night Restaurant
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom headed into NYC with her man.
Melissa Gorga may put together over-the-top food spreads in her role as mama, but when it comes to date night in her role as wife — she chooses something entirely sophisticated, a place suitable grown folks only. The Real Housewives of New Jersey pal headed away from New Jersey for a date night with husband Joe, spending the evening in New York City for a perfectly civilized date night dinner.
The pair dined at the fine-dining Italian restaurant Scarpetta, which Melissa called her "fav" in an Instagram caption to go with a snap showing the pair kicking off their meal with a bread basket and two glasses of red wine in a plush banquette.
Date night with this guy," she wrote. "Love this place!"
While Melissa didn't share a glimpse of what came in between, she did provide a snap of a couple of drool-inspiring desserts.
Scarpetta's dessert menu includes such splurge-worthy choices as chocolate custard beet route cake, mascarpone cheesecake with amaretti caramel, pear compote, and hazel cream; Nutella and vanilla bombolini; coconut panna cotta; and salted caramel budio.
In addition to NYC, Scarpetta has locations in such places as Las Vegas, Miami, Philadelphia, and the Hamptons.
