Summer is here, and it's HOT in the city tonight! Could be a Billy Idol song, or could be the old folk song about Mrs. O'Leary's cow, which François just learned at school and had been singing non-stop. We're off to the Ronald McDonald House benefit tonight, followed by a stop at my favorite neighborhood boutique, Epaulet, and then home to the boys.
Bravo's A-List Awards are showing tonight, and it's going to be fun! What a day and night that was -- let's just put it this way ... we know Simon & I've made an impression when we get roasted by Rachel Dratch, and one gorgeous Make Me a Supermodel host who played Simon alongside her, complete with her take off of one of my "infamous" dresses and our "love of shopping ... a lot!" Tune in tonight for a crazy, irreverent take on culture as seen by the good folks at Bravo, and perhaps you'll see Project Runway's Christian Siriano's evaluation of Simon's jacket that he wore that night ... a big plus.
We also had the opportunity to meet the OC ladies that night, which you may have read about. I think between all the comments reported in the press, the playing field is level and everyone's even. Now, who wants a drink? Maybe we'll all meet for a summit -- Chicago, perhaps ...
Alex, I love your attitude! You are the only houswife who is truthful about everything. Simon is a great, funny, honest and caring husband. Your marriage seems to be true partnership and I believe the other housewives ARE jealous!!! Great job with the tennis match Simon, YOU ROCK! Ramona and Mario are snide, smug and downright nasty but you both handle them with such class. They will never see themselves as they truly are ... But the viewing public and the people around them recognize that their behavior is atrocious and that you and Simon "win" simply by your graceful and thoughtful reactions. Brava, Tracy

I started cryng when you spoke of how you told Simon he was holding your heart , he truly does. I laughed at the blue ring pool, your torn up house and watching you two shop. Stop by this summer to our torn up house, swim in our blue ring pool, and if your'e around tommorow you can go with me as I pay my over kill for clothes shopping I've done this month . There are times as we(my husband & I) are almost word for word the same as you & Simon. I LOVED the get away in the Hamptons too. You show the reality of it is us who make our lives, not "stuff' , location or other material items. Memories of water baby came back to me as i grew up at the lake, not quite like you did at the ocean, but the same in family memories. Best to your family always.

Alex, You always make a great fashion statement. In one of the episodes I think from season 1 you and Simon went to the opening night at the opera. You actually got out of the limo because there was so much traffic and walked the rest of the way in an absolutely BEAUTIFUL sort of animal print dress. i have tried to find a picture of you in that dress and for some reason I can't. I am getting married in November and would love to have a picture of that t dress so I can re create it for my special day. Alex, keep your distance from those other wannabe divas and don't trust any of them. Betheny is one solid girl and deserves for you to be there for her, unlike the other vultures. Stay loyal and don't instigate like Ramona, Luann and Kelly who is so desperate to land a rich guy, she has to jog in front of taxi cabs in NYC with a film crew to try to hold on to whatever is left of her "hasbeen" modeling career. Alex, I believe you are on a pedastal much higher than some others. Don't take it wrong, I'm putting you up there, I'm not suggesting you feel that. I feel that you may need friends that are always loyal to you. You always are able to remain above the riff raff. You never sink to the level of the sneaky backstabbers,and phony to your face. You are the kind of woman that others should strive. I hate to see someone turn on you and there is no one that has your back. If I was there I would never let anyone verbally trash you. I would be the one who would let loose a verbal trashing until I made them cry. That way you could maintain the classy gal you are, and let them call me whatever they wanted. Stay strong, the cast really needs the great example you are.
Hi Alex. First let me say, I really like you.You always carry yourself in a very sophisticated , calm ,self controlled manner. You conduct yourself more like a Countess.You and Simon handle criticism more maturely than some of the others.I have yet to hear you raise your voice, shout,scream,walk out, point your finger or call anyone out of their given name. Perfect, no,but fashionable,yes. I like your style. You and Simon, Jill and Bobby seem to have a great marriage. Isn't the show about the REAL Housewives of New York City?
