Well we finally get to see Bethenny on the dating scene. Her friend Frankie definitely has good taste and set her up with a very handsome gentleman who seems very secure. Of course Bethenny has to mess with his head by telling Patrick that she loves to be a ball breaker. Hey Bethenny, here’s an update for your recent dating rules: Men don’t like women who break their balls. As we Italian men say, Non mi rompere I coglioni.
Alex and Simon give a tour of their house in progress. The renovation has taken longer that the painting of the Sistine Chapel. Though the kitchen was very nice, I do have to agree with Bethenny (but she will probably take it back) about the bordello look. I was waiting for the escorts to come downstairs and join the party. Simon, the living room definitely works with your shiny red pants and black jacket look. Sorry we were unable to attend as we had previous plans with very good friends and they were not up for schlepping to Brooklyn. We were not trying to diss you and Alex. Maybe another time. I’m pleased to see how much better your boys are behaving since last year. Can’t wait to read the parenting book that you and Alex are working on.
A "girls' night out” will now hold new meaning for LuAnn. Don’t worry about getting dating tips from Kelly. And why does she always play with her hair like an adolescent girl? Better you go with Bethenny’s rules of dating.
Mario--I love Jill and didn't appreciate your past comments about her and I was also hoping that your blog was a one time event. This week I have to say that I think your blog is HILARIOUS! You managed to get a dig in about almost everyone (no comments re Ramona?) Smart move. Anyway, the blog was short and witty. You may be growing on me...like a bad rash. But this week you are funny!
Mario!! Avery is a great gal. I could very easily see her in a leadership role for her generation. I like Jill's group of family and friends and look foreward to seeing you all next season. Kelly is a flake.
Mario, why do you author these blogs like gossipy woman at a hen party?
You are a handsome man, but you seem to be very superficial and catty.
Sorry, I'm just sayin'.
Hey Mario, I enjoy your point of view on the blogs always right on mark with my own. I hope they keep you on board for next year its refreshing to see a real mans take on all this. I work in an office with mainly guys and alot of us are hooked on the show mostly due to the train wreck nature of alot of it. I find it an innocent diversion to our everyday lives. Hope you have a great summer in the Hamptons and best of luck to you and your family.
WOW!!! Bitter Much??? Mario..news flash...this is the Real Housewives...not Husbands. You have your own blog on here yet diss Jill for having her family on the show. They are a part of her life so why wouldn't we see them? Also I have seen enough of your jewelry line also. I give a lot of credit to the people who edit the show because they have never made you look as bad as you have done to yourself in this blog.
Once again, you delivered! You have such a great sense of humor. It's funny how much you get under Jill's skin, she really needs to find a place where she can buy a sense of humor!
Bobby said it best when he told Jill that he KNEW she would find something to complain about when he gave her a car. Can't imagine how he deals with such an ungrateful complaining wife, maybe we should send him an IV...
Jill loves to bash Ramona, it seems like she's a bit obsessed. This year has shown the true colors of Bethenny and Jill with all the trash talking behind everyone's back. They both seem like unhappy and mean spirited women this year. Too bad they can't have a little fun without hating on everyone else and bragging about themselves.
You have a great family that is focused on each other instead of how you can outdo someone else. It's nice to see the closeness and mutual respect you and Ramona share.
Congratulations to Avery!! She reminds me of myself at that age, such spirit!! Keep up the good work
Love you, Mario! I like your writing style and insights, and you're def. the handsomest husband of the Real Housewives (of all the cities).
First of all her friend's name was "Francky" and the man she went on a date with was named "Philippe" not PATRICK! Actually I thought Bethenney's behavior at the date was totally fine, she was just being her self, and on a date that is the best you can be. As we all know she is no B.S. so I found her attitude refreshing and humorous. Also, stop hating on Jill! Jill is amazing she and Bethenny are the only reason why people probably watch that show! Mario, don't hate!
Mario, you rock! Finally, someone here making relevant comments.
Now, will you blog about the assault charge, the Ethiopian pre-countess, South Florida with razor burn? I can't wait.
You know, I've been watching this show since the first season, and I've always thought that you were a good counterpoint to Ramona’s hyper personality. You seemed like a really laid back nice guy.
Even through this season I wanted to believe that Bravo edited scenes to get the most drama. I even stuck up for you in Jill's blog last week when she took some digs at you.
But you know what? Your blogs show that you are a mean-spirited sarcastic jerk. I won't be reading your obnoxious posts anymore.
Wow Mario! Angry much? You're as hostile and inane as Simon. Get a grip! You are not a housewife and neither is he.
You have a great - somewhat sarcastic sense of humor - love it!
I agree with you Mario, Kelly continues to show us how insecure she is by playing with her hair when having a conversation with others - she is a true head-case!
I love the spring-time with confirmations and first communions - congratulations to your daughter on her confirmation.
Hey Mario Your two cents are always so funny! You have such funny comments to say as usual. However, you have to get over your jealousy of the Zarins! You and Ramona cant seem to get over the fact that the Zarins are richer and more entertaining than you guys, there is no reason to be so insecure. (your "escorts" comment about Alex/Simon's house is right on, haha). Keep blogging! Betty
It's refreshing to have another male viewpoint here, but it seems like you are bent on putting down everyone who has rubbed your wife Ramona the wrong way.
For example, Alex and Simon's renovation looks great - why the "schlepping to Brooklyn" comment?
And why be hostile towards LuAnn? This is hard enough time for her and her kids w/out hurtful comments being thrown at her especially from someone on the show.
Yeah I agree, what is with Kelly and the "He better do stuff if he wants to be with me" thing while tinkering with her hair? And the hi-i-i-i-i-i-i-i thing in sing-song? Also, have much ego? ("Everyone wants to go out with Max and Max wants to go out with me.")Yeah, right, and spend your time in front of a mirror, woman.
I hadn't even thought about all of Jill's relatives who have been on the show! A little tired of the drapes store Mario? I wouldn't stay on her bad side for long though. She is obviously the connector for this series in NY.
Again why throw water on Bethany's second date?
You all will no doubt be able to retire on the free publicity alone from all of the cast members peddling their wares! It gets to be like an infomercial!
I was thinking the same thing about Bethenny, why would a nice guy put up with a woman that likes to bust balls let alone say that while first meeting a man?
It was lovely how she insulted her friend by informing the viewers that she would have to support him and she has more money. Her head may explode if that ego gets any bigger! I'm sure all the men loved to hear her make negative comments about the guys finances while bragging about herself, what a charmer...
It's funny that Jill gets so witchy when it comes to you, it shows how much she can't stand anyone that doesn't bow down to her holiness! I'm happy that you are calling her out on her drama queen act, boy she sure does seem uptight. She only smiles when a camera is pointed at her while posing, the rest of the time she is busy trashing everyone, bragging about herself and complaining to her poor husband. Yikes!
It's typical that she was begging the viewers to request that her mother be on the reunion show and then trashes you. Why in the world should her mother be on the reunion show? Talk about the show going to her head. I want to see the castmates, not her relatives!!
Why is Jill hawking her goods like a used car salesman? Seems a bit desperate, maybe all is not what it seems.
I hope you keep blogging, you at least have a sense of humor about your castmates.
Good Blog!I am glad you pointed out another of Jill's catty, nasty comments. I'm going to puke if I have to see those ugly fabrics at the store, yet again and again. Ramona looked great in this episode. Keep telling it like it is.
Finally! A somewhat witty and amusing post without the usual nastiness. Your points are clear and are rather clever. See that's the Mario we all love! Don't sink to the nastiness level anymore, it doesn't suit you.
Wow Mario--your blog is a little sarcastic--you know, sarcasm is really just a manifestation of anger...perhaps a little therapy might help?
I do agree, while I ike Jill, it is very annoying the way she constantly plugs zarin fabrics, and her family
this was great reading!!! I have to laugh at myself for reading and watching you guys. Is your life really like this?
I dont know why I bother to comment week after week, my comments never get posted, definition of madness.....anyhow, I think your comment about Luanne was uncalled for and beneath you.
I love your commentary. I think you and Ramona get a bad rap and are really lovely people. I like that you're both so nice and down to earth.
Go Mario! Your blog is totally on target. You tell it like it is and that's refreshing. It is ridiculous that the show has turned into an advertising spot for every Tom, Dick and Harry. Enough already. Great blog.
Missed you on the last show!!! I really enjoy all of guys and agree that ALL of you are apart of the HOUSEWIVES lives it is why we all watch!!! Betheny uses her sarcasm as a crutch, she is just nervous. You nailed it about Kelly, what is up with the hair twisting?? Congrats to Avery! Love to watch you and Jill Battle:)
All the very best wishes on Avery's confirmation! I know it was a special day for everyone in the singer family!
LOVE how you take time to mention your daughter's Christian confirmation in between berating your fellow castmates. You are such an positive influence on your daughter. God must be proud.
Your amazing & hot. You and Romana and B are the only honest people on this show and you both get so much *hit :( I dont get it its the RealHW? So why do people get so mad when ya'll are real? You two have an amazing marriage and your daughter is so fabulous, you both have done an amazing job with her. Im really sick of Jill pretending she is so perfect this and that-lord her hursband is awful looking and she has done nothing but marry ah wealthy man... ANyhow bravo to you and Ramon both your hardworking/honest/ ppeople! Jess from the OC
Love, love, love your blogging. I agree with you about Jill. It was a cheap remark about the IV and you are so right about her family. She has plugged her sister's radio show, I think she would like to get her Mother on the show all the time,(you know the Mother that went to her VAULT to get a special piece of jewelry for Jill, so special that Jill had never seen it before that day),she plugs Zarin's nonstop and last but not least, her gay husband.
You and Ramona are great!!!
Congrats on your daughters confirmation. I really like her, she is super cute and seems really smart.
Hilarious!! Thank you Mario. However-- come on! That iv comment was very funny too. Oh, and yes Avery seems to be quite a force to be reckoned with!
Mario I do agree about "ball-busting", men don't like it. Bethenny should have more class than to speak of it let alone be proud of inflicting it, and on a lovely french man too. You do have an over-inflated tennis ego. Your wife Ramona is rude ungracious, and likes to cause trouble when ever possible. Still, of all the "Real houswives" you all seem the most real. Even if your accents are truly dreadful although your Avery does not seem to have one yet. None of these series seems to be a true reflection of it's geographical inhabitants.
I knew you would not pass up the chance to get another dig at LuAnn. Why you think your comments about her are cute, I'll never figure out. Mean, hateful, and dense are not admirable qualities.
I will admit that the fact that Jill's existence on this planet sends you spiraling into outer space makes me laugh. I wonder if Jill should change her name to "Mario's Karma".
You guys have done a great job with Avery. I think your right about getting everyone to meet the president.
Wow, someone got up on the wrong side of the bed. Or maybe this is supposed to be funny? If so, the humor is lost in the seething anger and skewer everybody attitude. I find it ironic that you're blasting Jill and all of her friends and family who end up on the show, yet here you are, the husband (not a "real housewife" either, last time I checked) blogging about it! And your wife is plugging your business and her fake-blingy jewelry and magical face creams all over the place so blasting the Zarin Fabric thing doesn't work either. Pot meet kettle.
