Crazy Old Whore
Teresa talks Jill's mean girl routine, Ramona's alien walk, and the new bitch girl, Sonja.
Hi everybody!
Thanks again for all your great comments. I love, love, love them! It is super hard writing about people once you’ve met them and like them, but I’m doing the best I can to be objective.
I think Jill Zarin is super sweet, but what I see on TV is not the Jill I know. I don’t know if she acts different around people she doesn’t like, if she’s gotten a really
shitty edit this year, or what, but I’m feeling the same way you guys are when I watch the show. Jill is not having a nice season.
Kelly is also a really great person and a great mom, and I think if all of you met her, you’d really like her too. Even though she can be ditzy and maybe not serious enough, she is at least self-aware. Like at the Brooklyn Fashion Show. Just when I couldn’t stand her man shoulders one more second, she commented on how she never wears strapless dresses because they make her look like a linebacker. Then she said the yellow dress made her look like Big Bird. You have to give her points for at least being honest with herself. And I thought it was very nice that she wore what they gave her anyway, didn’t act like a diva, and was a good sport. You could see she just took the show as a fun night out with her daughters.
You know who I don’t know though? Sonja. I've never met her, and she’s newer than me, so she hasn’t said nasty things about me (yet) so I can’t possibly be biased against her, right? I’m just going to watch and judge. (Isn’t that Bravo’s tagline? Watch And Judge?) And here’s what I think: Crazy Old Whore.

Being an Italian Jersey girl myself, I can so relate to you Teresa. I love watching you because you tell it exactly like it is. As far as Sonja goes. I have a feeling you definitely called that one right........ You have a great family and I can't wait to read your book.

You have said what I have thought about some of these other housewives. You are very funny and you and Joe have the cutest little girls! I agree that you should get your own show but I love the Jersey cast. Glad you had a safe delivery also! The baby is pretty.

Teresa, I do find you very entertaining and are one of my favorite NJ housewives to watch but I have a problem with the name of your book "Skinny Italian". It just sounds way too similar to Bethenney's books. Couldn't you think of something more original?

Teresa, who could not love you? You tell it like it is, like most Italians. If no one likes it, tough! You speak your mind, you're always honest and right on, yet you're caring and sweet. What I like about you most is that you're not a prima donna. I can't wait for your new season to start. I've been in withdrawal the whole time. By the way, I LOVED LOVED LOVED the table flip. I've never seen anyone do it better!

Theresa, You make me laugh, you say what other people are thinking, and you are REAL. Love, Love the scene with your Father asking your friend if it was her time of the month, but he didnt use those words. My family came from Italy also, and it is refreshing to see someone who is proud to be a mom and lives life for her family and cherishes her kids- and is also hysterical. Dont change.
And you are right, Sonya was inappropriate, it was a bit creepy....
I love all the housewives except OC. Can't wait for the new DC housewives. Teresa, don't throw stones at glass houses lol. I've seen some stuff on these shows, but nothing crazier then your coniption fit last year in that restaurant.
hey, theresa--you tell it like it is about Sonya. She has quite the ego and will go zero to catty soon enough like the rest of them. Thanks for the update about her hubby Grandpa Warbucks. She acts like a cougar in perpetual heat.

Seriously... you should be one of the last people to call someone else 'ditzy'.... There's no reason for you to be so harsh regarding Sonja - don't let your feelings about Danielle transfer to others... not okay...
Oh Theresa, the best thing about reading that blog was that I could actually hear you saying it. You are spot on about all the NYC girls... and I think Bethany should hop over to Jersey now that she is married and with child, I'm sure you gals would throw her one hell of a baby shower!
I LOVE LOVE reading your blog...it's like you've got a tap on my brain and say everything that I'm thinking. It might seem hard to you to write, but you do a fantastic job! Watching the show just wouldn't be the same if I couldn't come and read the blogs and make sure I'm not the only one feeling the way I do watching the show. Glad to hear Jill is an adult in person...she just keeps embarrassing herself on tv...just when I think she can't get any worse....well, we all know.

I don't know where in Jersey you are from but I have no idea where, and the other ladies (and I use that term ladies loosely) except for Jacqueline and Dina they have the most class of all...But all the girls are NOT from N.J.and being from Jersey myself I have never met anyone with such little class, between your show and the Jersey Shore (which I have never seen, commercials are enough for me) You are giving all from N.J.a really bad name.....

I could not agree with you more about Sonja, like watching her initial segment describing herself made me uncomfortable. She's a little sketchy.

I am soooo disappointed in your comments. I really liked you the most of all the housewives because you were never backbiting, superficial, or small minded. I don't know now if was just a trick of editing because you came off as a kind, giving, and nonjudgemental woman. But your comments on Sonja were just downright mean and crude. Please take a moment and reflect on your comments and why you would talk like that.
Dear Teresa, I am couting the days to the May 3rd premire os Season 2. The Real Housewives of NJ are by far the best cast, (possibly with one exception). I am a 53 year old wife and mother of 2 and I love your show.
Teresa, a certain cast member does not recognize your intelligence and strength and that is why she attempts to put you down. She can only try to put you down, however her words and actions cannot take away from you your essence. You are an AMAZING individual! :)
You are so unaffected by your beauty and wealth, you are someone who lives life through your heart! You are so loving and you have such a zest for life, you deserve all the Blessings you have in your life!
