@ChiaraSoprano1: @AvivaDrescher LOL I want to know WHY you really agreed to do this show?
Answer: It seemed like a good idea at the time! LOL!To raise awareness for amputees and help anyone with physical challenges.
@ChiaraSoprano1: @AvivaDrescher Also, if you had to do it over again, knowing what you know now, would you still have agreed to be on the show?
Answer: Yes. I have reached so many people with my mission. Helping others made the headache worth it.
@Erin_in_AR: @AvivaDrescher Perhaps you can tell us about some funny scenes or events while filming that didn't air?
Answer: There are SO many. There were many scenes I filmed with Carole that were very intimate that didn't air. A great scene with Fran Drescher and my family. . .A funny segment when my whole family went trick or treating for Halloween in costume. (I looked ridiculous as Cleopatra). . . There is a bonus episode on Monday. Let's see what is shown!
@KarenLongIsland: @AvivaDrescher. Things you've learned about yourself and the things you've learned about human nature. Both good and bad.
Answer: I have learned to think before I speak. Less is more. Human beings are most drawn to conflict since the beginning of time and they still are.
I liked you in the beginning but too soon it was apparent you have been spoiled and indulged your whole life for the horrible accident that happened. But your parents should have taught you that the world doesn't revolve around you. I learned of your selfishness when you told Sonja someone else could have taken her possibly terminally ill dog to the vet. How dare you say something like that. People have lives and they do not have to fit into your self centered world. You knew the vacation was a girls vacation but you insisted on coming with her husband and EXPECTED everyone to again indulge you. Grow up Aviva everything isn't about you.
Getting caught up on New york..wow, I have to laugh Avia invites Sonja to make ammends and then when Sonja doesn't accept her fake apology? what does Aviva do? What Aviva does best. Go on the Attack and try to make herself more important. LOL...I am so glad to watch this show for mindless entertainment to get my mind off REAL life. Aviva? Please come on over to Toronto and we will gladly show you what we do with Crazy people like you. Get some Help Sweety. Don't worry Ried will go with you.
In the beginning I respected Aviva but her true colors started to show after watching her lose control with Sonja & Ramona over the charity and at St. Barth. Sonja & Ramona are immature but do not warrant Aviva's insults & cutting remarks regarding life issues. Aviva, get over yourself. It's the ones who portray well intentions that have a deep rooted dark side.
Aviva, The rest of the ladies where having a good time before you arrived on the island. Yes,
Sonja and Ramona are obnoxious but at least everyone was getting along and even enjoying each other. You came in with with your nasty attitude, like a pit bull, and that was when everything turned ugly. I hope you have watched yourself on that episode and learned something. I felt so sorry for Carol ( a real classy lady ) and Heather - the only two women of the group who live in the real world and who don't think the world revolves around them. You acted like a spoiled child who took her anxiety out on others, never thinking for a moment that maybe it was you and your anger that was wrecking the trip for others. I really wish you had stayed home because I was enjoying watching the other women having fun and getting to know each other a little better. I found you quite disgusting.
Aviva, I just watched the episode where you berate Heather for calling Ramona insane and deny bad mouthing Jacques! You clearly lied as you were an active participant in the negative conversation that was in fact behind Jacque's back. I don't agree with what Jacques did at the wine tasting but shame on you for stooping so low. In fact, shame on you for you for not sticking up for Heather who was not talking about Ramona specifically and yet was verbally attacked by Ramona in a public forum. At least Heather spoke directly to Ramona and Mario! Why is this any of your business anyway? Initially I liked you but that feeling is quickly disappearing.
I just watched a rerun of the show where you father showed up at Ramona's event with a check. There is a clip of you stating your rationale for not attending the event. Here is my confusion. You speak several languages, have several degrees but, didn't think about mailing the check to the event. Really? I don't think so.
annie17352 I am in Toronto and we are way behind as we are just getting to view the season, but while I believe Ramona was way over the top, as she always is and it is to be expected, Avivas father was way out of line even showing up as a man to a womens abuse event but to go at Ramona the way he did...he absolutely deserved to be escorted out.
Aviva... you and Carol are the ONLY two "ladies" on that show. The rest are basically .. just what you called them in one episode! Its a pleasure to watch YOU and CAROL every week... those others can go back to the alley they came from as far as I am concerned
I live in England and this season has just been aired here. Like the previous post I can barely watch you now and can only hope that it is editing that has portrayed you as you are and that in 'real life' you are totally different. Many of us have phobias, as I have, including heights, but yours appears to be more like a chip on your shoulder that genuine phobias. It certainly looks like attention seeking every time you're on tv and you explode on a regular basis. Yes Ramona is loud but really you are so rude, arrogant and confrontational. I can only assume that you get this from your father as he appears to be like that too, and age is no excuse. The fact your husband stays with you is every credit to him. Have you not looked at your behaviour on these episodes? And just because someone has a different view of holidays than you is not a reason for personally attacking someone. You of all people should know that everyone is different and we have to learn to accept those differences, otherwise we'd all be boring.....
i live in liverpool in uk i carnt bare to watch u really hope they dont bring u bk next season ive watched from day 1 and ive gotta say u are by far out of all seasons ur the one that irritates me the most u wreck my head with ur phobia about this phobia about u need to get a grip of urself the way u spoke to sum of the girls was a discrace plus ur farther luring over sonja u cud see she was uncomfertable plus he eyes u up his own daughter u aviva that is disgusting to watch it was cringy ill hope and pray u dont cum bk next season quit franklt i carnt stand u or ur dad
lauraowens1983 Try a full-stop now and then - it would allow those of us trying to read your rubbish to come up for breath.
We live in Scotland and boy you are hard work lady! I really would not have a friend like you around..You seem to think you are being constructive in your criticism when actually you are berating.....there is a huge difference in your argument! your dad i suspect make many woman feel very uncomfortable and although he comes across as a lethario, he is actually very abusive towards women...its glaringly obvious he is false and guys dont just turn like that overnight...maybe always been like that...wow inappropriate conversation he has with you...my dad would never talk to me like that. Was very uncomfortable watching this season, i actually felt abused myself as this aint right and surely if this continues what could happen next frightens me.....by the way Aviva most educated and intelligent people do not go around claiming they have an exemplary educative qualifications either.......just a wee bit of narcissistic personality disorder going on there......coupled with psychotic episodes there...come on bravo im not sure we should be watching this!
Aviva I hope u won't return to rhony bcos u re too boring and all u do is to pick argument with people u ve anger inside of u it's shows when u talk and it's all about u,who do u think u re,pls stay at home with ur family.boring!!!!!
Hi Aviva , I am so glad that we have a strong beautiful lady to stand up to Ramona. The episode in the restaurant where Ramona kept saying she didn't want a scene and that you shouldn't raise your voice , then she was the one to leave in a huff was great. that's because she didn't know how to respond to you and knew you had got her cornered. I luv you and think your great but the only thing I would say is stay grounded and don't become too much of a diva and think your better than other's as sometimes this is how you can come across. Just don't back down to Ramona xx (watchin from u)
Hi Aviva, thanks for being on the show! I really liked watching you. I'm really disappointed by the way some people- particularly Ramona and Sonja, reacted to your anxieties. It's astounding to see the prejudice people still hold towards mental illnesses. Hearing comments such as 'just face your fears' so simplistically reveals the lack of awareness and understanding others have about anxiety. You didn't let it define you in the show- rather you were mocked for so etching you cannot help. I really liked the charity work you did too. You are gorgeous and inspirational - I hope you are back on next season. :)
Dear Aviva, get over it the thing with Ramon just drop it your beging to look very silly banging on about it at every oppertunity, As a viewer i did see ramon and sonja thay hello and hug you and your hubbie WHY do you think they should bow down and thank your hubbie for getting you on a plane? your the one said dont draw attention to my phobias or did you forget that?
It is great your using this oppertunity to platform amputees and the disadvantages I love the show keep it up girls, and i think YOUR the one that owes a SORRY to the whoe group for your behaviouryour showing no class given your education..
fruitloop You're showing your education too, fruitloop. Perhaps Aviva did come across as a little self-righteous when she arrived in St. Barts, but Sonja and Ramona were rude, childish and unwelcoming, but what's new. Your house parties must be wonderful given you think Ramona and Sonja are the injured parties, their behaviour was disgusting, but you obviously aren't in a place from which you can recognise that.
Alittle bit vicious there? R and S were not rude or childish, they got hammered all weekend by a stalking Aviva who thought her opinion was the only one that counted.
chrissie_malcolm fruitloop to chrissie_malcolm: I like the way you think AND express yourself! I've been watching ALL these "real housewives" series for awhile now - hence my posting name. Anyways, thx for being right on AND entertaining - maybe you should get a TV show, you seem to have it together...
to fruitloop: well... okaaaay.... fruitloop.....
OMG i love you when your on real housewives !!! I don't care what people think about you because your a fantastic woman ! I wish I could meet you ! X
I have just seen your arrival in St Barts on a UK re-run for the firsttime. I have never seen anyone so holier that thou, or in French 'Madame Gros-tete'. Your behaviour is appalling and I felt reeally embarassed for Carole your hostess. There's a saying in the UK, takes one to know one, so you claim to know that sonja and Ramona are 'white trash' what does that make you!!!! Your manners are every bit as bad as theirs and I hope you are not in the next season of this great show as you are a big ugly turn-off
Sorry I found you self absorbed, constantly shouting over everyone, never giving anyone a chance to have their say, and as for your phobia's oh for goodness sake go get help and talk to someone who actually cares....it's all about you all the time, what a pathetic person, grow up, you not on the school fields anymore!!
Aviva I enjoyed watching you this season despite being annoyed that Jill was no longer on the show and I will be a fan of anyone who gives Ramona and Sonja as good as they give. I was just wondering why it was never brought up on the finale how both these supposed "friends" ditched your fundraiser for a day of treatments and then lied right to your face about Sonja's dog having to go to the vet and Ramona's "meeting?
Hi Aviva, I identified you within the first few episodes as a very passionate and loyal person. I have been in your shoes, so to speak, fortunately not on live television! You expected Ramona and Sonja to have gone the extra mile to defend you when you were not there as you would do for them. I can understand that after the plane trip your nerves were on edge, and you could feel the tension in the air, when you got to the house. I know you ignored LuAnn's part in the drama because you never expected much from her, but she really was to blame. I used to be like you, until I came to realise that I needed to categorise my friends and not give 110% to all of them, just the ones I am sure would return the sentiment. It is very difficult to have fair weather friends when you are not a fair weather friend yourself, but you have to train yourself to spot the fair weather friend ones. I hope your experience this season won't stop you from being the person that stands up for what you know is right, like you did for Ramona when Heather wasn't being very nice to her. Try to put your pride aside and just keep apologising to Ramona and Sonja until I hope they forgive you and accept your apology. They really are not malicious, they are just them , what you see is what you get. I would take them over LuAnn the slithering snake any day! I hate that she had the opportunity to nip that disastrous argument in the bud and instead chose to spit more venom into it. You invited Sonja and Ramona to Miami and not her, so don't forget she had an axe to grind with you as well. That was her typical passive aggressive way of getting back at you. She could see you were getting close to Sonja and Ramona and didn't like it. So many things were said in the heat of the moment, I hope with time the three of you can forgive yourselves. Best of Luck
It was painfully clear you have a lot of issues, not just phobia's. You have a wonderful heart but, why so judgmental? Your fear of death was palpable. In the time I have been watching the RHONY you were the first housewife to be on an emotional roller-coaster. Is that because of your accident as a child? As Heather said on the reunion show often we dislike in another the same quality we possess. I think both you and your nemesis Ramona have baggage from your past that needs to be tossed overboard. Do stay on the show...It will be good for you and I would like to get to know the real you..
I have been watching the real housewives for nearly 3 years and not just new york, and you are the only housewife that i cannot watch. You are the most annoying, self absorbed, stupid person i have ever watched. Going on for 3 days about how you weren't greeted properly is the stupidest excuse to fight, are you honestly 12? Please dont return next season.
I truly hope that Bravo does not ask you back for another season. I cringe at the sight of you and the dramatic, crazy woman antics you display.
This type of show is, for me, a guilty pleasure at the end of the week. Something kind of mindless but entertaining. And I did enjoy it until you went became the Unrelenting Avicious Aviva. How is it that you are so highly educated yet unable to communicate your meaning without resorting to extreme exaggeration? I can see someone using hyperbole in a humorous story. However, you are using it while engaged in a very serious conversation where you are criticizing someone. If you are seriously trying to make a point, shouldn't you make an effort to be more clear and exact in your choice of words so that you will be understood? Restated... if you want your meaning to be clear shouldn't you be more responsible with what you say and how you say it? I was stunned when you, in effect, told Ramona that the only reason someone should be dis-invited to an event is if the person is a 'rapist'? Do you realize how out of balance this sounds? Especially about a fundraiser for abused women?
As I stated previously, I watch the show for some mindless entertainment. Your behavior and comments are too extreme and bizarre for me. I simply don't want to work that hard.
Aviva, parden me, but I'm confused by your statement; " I look forward to spreading the theme of unconditional acceptance." Did you actually write that ? Yes, that's a great idea, maybe you can try again in the new season, if you're invited back. You are very judgemental and have definite ideas as to what is proper. There are double standards you apply for everything. You blast others for their crude comments and behavior...uhh.. so it's ok for your father to act like a pig.
I think you Aviva act like a child with whatever knowledge you have you sure don't apply any grace or consideration for any perspective other than your own!! Ramona is right and so is Sonja. You are ridiculous and self centered!!!!
Lessons about SOCIAL GRACES....It seems that your family is bereft of these knowledge....
So Learn this:
1) Don't send anyone (e.g. your father etc) to a party where he is Not Invited. (Especially if it is a girls-only affair). If you did so - you turned that person into a GATE CRASHER
2) Give the Hostess the COURTESY by calling her - to ask if it is okay to send him.
If you followed these rulles - the brouhaha would have been avoided.
Ramona had the right to send your father home - he badgered her - caused distress.
Besides he is a GATE CRASHER.
Aviva I love you, sure your arrival at St. Bart's was not a golden moment, neither was Russ being there to be with Carol no one had a right to pick on you or your handsome husband. You did talk about your accident and phobias, however unless someone has gone through a trumatic experience they can never understand. Sonja was so out of line saying she liked your ex-more than you, you were a true lady, I would have hit her with a pillow! I hope to see you next year, your are graceful, elegant quite and such a wonderful wife and mother, God Bless!
bfair You are insane for thinking that Sonja was out of line for saying what she said about her X. Sonja is friends with her X and NOT with Aviva, so COMMON SENSE tells anyone that naturally Sonja would like her X more than Aviva.
Sonja is always out of line and seems to have a major drinking problem (along with her bud Ramona). It seems her life goal is to find rich old men to provide her with a life of luxury. She is pretty pathetic (although not as bad as the pathetic Ramona).
lizzyjae And if Aviva was not married...since she hasn't ever worked...would she get her money from? Aviva married money both times, and has never used those degrees, so how do you think she could live so lavish?
No matter what side you're on, ya gotta admit, some of these comments are hysterical!
Long live bickering housewives and the entertaining TV they bring to our cozy nights indoors with no plans.
Peace to all...
No need to dress up. From the sound of it, you're frightening enough as yourself! Have you ever considered playing Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? You remind me of her with your repetitive comebacks
I should be so lucky! She's quite a looker. At least I know I'd have more intelligent discussions than this with you, sunshine!
Rockerman nursenj If you like women who need a babysitter, then she's the perfect one for you.
deedeedeedee She still wants to rely on Twitter for her questions, too! Lol....like we are so stupid that we don't know she blocks the comments she doesn't want to hear. She ignores all the questions and comments on here where it really should matter to her.....most who follow her on twitter are her 'fans', although I'm sure some just follow for the heck of it.
deedeedeedee ITA! Aviva has a skewed way of seeing things. She makes excuses for herself and her pervie pappy and nobody else. I also hope she is not back for next season. She was a "Negative Nellie" the entire time.
