Season 4
Season 3
Season 2
Season 1
I asked Sonja to meet up at my Yummie offices so James Bernard and I could present her with the graphic options we had worked up on her logo. I agreed to help Sonja create the proper architecture for her brand and to creative direct a marketing campaign that hopefully will her help her sell a ton of toaster ovens! Go Sonja! James and I have partnered on many projects and we make a strong team and I am grateful he agreed to partner with me as art director. It's feel good to lend your expertise to help out a friend and as James and I sat over coffee discussing it, we both felt excited because we know we can help her.
We needed to get started by getting feedback on the fonts we designed for Sonja's umbrella brand concept (housing both Sonja Home and Sonja in the City catering), and to possibly select one to start the process. What you don't know is that I had already given James initial direction on the project and insight into Sonja.
I purposefully told James not to research Sonja and not to go on her website right off the bat, I actually didn't want James to see what I had seen when I visited her site.
The images of Sonja with the leather gloves and the "S" and "M" burnt onto toast frankly speaking, were a bit scary and I wanted him to approach this project with an unbiased opinion and fresh eyes and to meet her in person first.
After visiting several appliance retailers, I also concluded my earliest concerns: that Sonja's toaster oven will have to stand-out on the shelf in a competitive set of credible, big name appliance companies and this means we will have to create a campaign that is driven by the marketing and not necessarily the product. I spoke to James about this and some of my earliest creative ideas for Sonja's campaign.
Just a guess....Aviva probably made up an excuse not to go to London with you guys. After all, she jumped right on a plane and went to Miami, right? Unless she caught a bus there....doubtful, though.
IDK what episode it was, maybe last weeks, but Heather's hair looked to be braided (in a side braid), but rather it was 2 strands vs. three. I've tried looking it up on the internet but can't find it. Is it called a twist, a braid? Was is it people - help me?!?!?!
@Missydeb65 Hi missyseb65... I believe it's called a 'fishbraid'
@Missydeb65 I believe that is called a fishtail braid.
Missydeb65 wasn't it adorable! I think braids are the rage now. Maybe Heather can dabble in that buisness...
Heather..no matter what anyone says I think you are awesome...so poised and honest. I love the way you carry yourself and don't try to fit in and make everyone happy. You speak your mind and you wouldn't be where you are today if you hadn't followed your instincts. I can't wait to see the rest of the season. You definatly class things up!!
Heather, you continue to feed the flames of drama - you throw gasoline on the flames and fake innocence when there's an explosion. When it comes to the "Ramona-coaster", you and Lu Ann are first in line for tickets, shoving everyone aside to sit in the first car, riding with your hands flying high, screaming for effect and then making sure everyone knows about your crazy ride. Time for you and "Lu" to grow up.
suze50 You are so right! Totally agree with you.
I STILL DON'T THINK LUANNE WAS OFF THE WALL JUST BECVAUSE SHE MENTIONED SHE LIVED IN SWITZERLAND,
STOP CONFUSING AVIV'S TRIP W/ HEATHERS GAME AVIVA'S FLA TRIP ALREADY HAD THE ART AS PART OF THE VACA- AGAIN YOU THINK EVERYONE IS FOLLOWING LEADS HEATHER IS NOT ONE TO FOLLOW,SHE'S A SHOW OFF VINCICTIVE RAMONA & AVIVA DOES NOT NEED THE HEATH-ER!
Watch out Heather your fame is showing,,better get humble 'cause you can't fool everyone..you actually think AVIVA has reasons why she invited RAMONA to the Art Show,,IN FLORIDA SHE'S CAPABLE OF LIKING PEOPLE BY ACCEPTING THEM FOR WHO THEY ARE YOU'RE MISSING THAT LITTLE PERSKY ELEMENT CALLEd HUMILITY!
Now you are complaining you were demonized for not inviting Ramona to London? Seem to recall you saying that you did not give a $hit and that Ramona could bring it on. You attempted to exclude Ramona and ingratiate yourself to the other castmates. Plan backfired maybe....
You and your joker grin creeps me out.
@lieuelle let's c your smile.
You are a wonderful addition to RHONYC! I love your voice of reason in the midst of all the craziness. You come across as smart & very business savy. I appreciate that you are not a b@#%^ and still able to be successful in business.
Why do you keep talking about Ramona if you want the Drama to stop?
Heather I love watching you on the show...what a nice addition. However, you come across like a "Perfect Patty". It's like you always have a story about something which is good but can make you wanna change the chanel sometimes.
Ex. why must you comment on what Sonia bought her toaster oven in when she met with you and James??? :-(
Heather The RHONY are not ready for someone as real and beautiful and honest as you! Stand your ground! You are the type EVERY women should have as a BFF Never let anyone tell you that you are not super great!
Heather- you always seem to be picking a fight with Ramona and are confusingly rude, snarky and unkind to her. You seem to have made up your mind to dislike her before you even met her. Your snide comments and immature behavior at Aviva's party was desperate and embarrassing to watch. I think you're smart, but really lack the skills on how to be a true friend....I think you just want to be with who you think are the "popular" girls. Reminds me of that girl in high school who was so desperate to be liked that she latched on to the queen bee and everyone around her just saw her as irritating. Be your own woman, not just who you think Luann wants you to be.
If you couldn't see that Pepe Le Pew set Ramona up, then you need glasses. Or maybe you think trying to humiliate someone at a large gathering is just "fun". Aviva didn't invite you, because, oops sorry, not enough room. Sound familiar?
Of course Heather wouldn't see anything wrong with the way LuAnn treated Ramona. Heather clearly had an agenda to set herself up as Ramona's nemesis from the beginning. Reach a larger audience, sell more girdles.
You are weirded !!!! And when Aviva invited the girls and left the others she did not do it because she doesn't like you or the others .
Hi Heather. I want to thank you. Your common sense and the direct, calm and senstive way that you address people (ok, Ramona especially) that you are having a conflict with has helped me in my own mind to formulate sentences that get my point across intelligently and politely while not knocking myself or opinion of the situation down (thoughtful pause, compose thoughts, say, "Here's the thing...".
I think that you are wasting your time with "Lu". She has zero self awareness. While appearing on Watch What Happens Live after the London trip, she seriously acted like she had no idea why anyone would think that she is a one-upper. Also noticed on the preview of the rest of the season, there is a scene where the ladies are walking towards an airplane. Luanne shoots out of nowhere at a quick pace, knocks into the woman in front of her and makes her way to her rightful countess place -in front! Hilarious!
As for the London trip, you would have been out of your mind to have invited Ramona. She is truly mental! Aviva is a pot stirrer. In almost every episode so far, she has mentioned something that wasn't necessary to say and that showed a total lack of discretion.Surely she knows before she says these things that her words are going to cause trouble? Looks like the preview is showing that it will all come back to haunt her.You didn't "exclude" Ramona. You just didn't invite her. Thanks again for being the voice of reason and sanity. If any of these women have become your friend that is great. If not, I don't think that you are lacking in that department. Holla!
Love you Heather. Stay away from the Ramonacaster. You are the best addition to the NY wives.
finally a housewife with looks, smarts & class...you're a great addition to a show that is lagging...
I don't get it!! Why are rest of the housewifes so afraid of Ramona? You're the only one showing her that every action has a consequence. You show her very kindly if you act crazy or rude, I will cut you of. Finally one strong, funny, succesful, kind mature NY Housewife on the show!! You're great role model. Please, don't ever change!!
Ive decided you are officially my favourite after Carole dissapointed me with her mini obsession with Luann. So I hope you stay this way throughout the seson.
I think you have it backwards. Luanne clearly has a major obsession with Carole. All the one-upmanship Luanne engages in shows how truly obessed with her title (and Carole's) Lu really is.
mothership Never claimed that Luanne wasn't one upping but Carole's reaction was over the top and with her laid back nature I would have expected it the least from her to sweat the small stuff. So yes I thought she over did it.
Heather...just love you on the show!!!!
Hands down, you're my new favorite housewife. Despite what Ramona says (she's crazy and I've thought so since day 1), you're so real, and I love that. I also don't blame you for not inviting her to London. She would've made a mockery of you and your company in front of all of your business partners. I also agree that Aviva was being a hypocrite when she reproached you for not inviting Ramona and then did the same thing later, although, I do acknowledge the argument could be made that the situations were different... But in reality, they weren't all that different.
I don't understand a lot of people's arguments that the trips are so different. Aviva's issue was "exclusion" and how no one should be excluded. So it's ok because there are TWO exclusions instead of ONE? That's what makes it ok and not hypocritical? haha, that's rich.
The issue isn't that anyone was hurt by not being invited, but that all that whining about not including Ramona seems so silly now that Aviva has done it herself. Heather...maybe you should have pouted and stomped your feet so that everyone here would be sympathetic to you ;)
@Adoniat Allow me to break it down for you: Aviva actually only invited Ramona and Sonja, Carole was just already going to be down in Miami. So Aviva did not invite three cast members, not just one. I'm sure if you think about it, excluding one person sends a different message than excluding three people. I don't think Heather should feel badly about not inviting Ramona since it was her trip and she could do whatever she wanted with it, but regardless of her intent, excluding only Ramona did send a message. That is what Aviva had an issue with.

Heather - you're awesome and my officially now my favorite RHONYC! Keep being real (and funny!) girl!
You're like an oasis in the middle of a looney tunes cartoon.....a welcome relief from all the drama and cat fighting.
Huge diff.! Heather invited everyone EXCEPT Ramona.Avia just invited 2-3 whatever it was.
You are such a hypocrite! How in the world can you say you want off the Ramona coaster when you are the one who keeps spinning the wheel? Your behaviour at Aviva's party was immature, to say the least. And who put you in charge to tell Luann how the other girls feel about her? Tell her how you feel, and let the others deal with their own thoughts.
BTW-inviting 2 is very different than inviting all but 1.
You invited everyone but Ramona, it is totally different. Your decision to leave Ramona out was very mean spirited and uncalled for.
sarah100
I disagree. Heather stuck to her convictions and didn't want to have a miserable time in London. I totally get it.
cwife1972
I am in total agreeance with your comment cwife1972. I, like you was so happy to see that Heather stood her ground and didn't invite freaky Ramona.
Sarah100, I don't think it was rude either. It may have been brutally honest at best, but that was it. Ramona needed a wake-up call like that, even though I don't forsee this being helpful in Ramona's tactic area.
sarah100 shoot, how can you say that? if a person doesn't like someone, there is absolutely no reason to include her in whatever your own personal plan is, ESPECIALLY when it was going to involve an overlap with work events--Ramona would have been an absolute nightmare at that dinner, probably wanting to talk about her woman of the year award or whatever it was and her crazy Learning Annex stint.....
Initially, I was gobsmacked that your efforts for Sonja went unappreciated, then remembered a critical truth: Developing great creative is about 20% of the problem; the other 80% is getting the client to believe it's their idea. :)
Oh, yeah, and one other thing: never give it away. (Although presumably, people witnessing your considerable business savvy on national TV has a value to you.)
Thanks to you and other newbies, my guilty pleasure has become WAY too much fun this season... thanks!
heather,
you have a beautiful real smile.....
Heather, you continue to be my very favorite of the "wives". It's really nice of you to put so much time and effort into helping Sonja. She doesn't seem to be very appreciative and receptive to your help. I get a good laugh watching you try to tactfully clue Luanne in on how some of her actions are rubbing others the wrong way. I think she just doesn't care. I do agree with you that there wasn't a devious plot against Ramona at the wine tasteing. Aviva is definitely choosing the wrong person to chum up to and I think Ramona is rubbing off on her....you definitely wouldn't have been up for that Miami trip. And Aviva was absolutely hypocritical in criticizing you and then doing the same thing. Stay off that Ramonacoaster girl!! Hollo
I don't think Sonja is as naive at business as you might think. You need to give her a little more credit.
@itznia Well she lost all her money in a bad business deal, so I think she might could use some help!
ocdeb65 itznia Check your facts....Sonja did NOT lose all of her money. Heather did not want to help, she wanted to take over.
itznia
I agree, and, Sonja has a huge ego that must always be catered to. That was the bottom line of why she was unhappy at the meeting. She wanted to be noticed and complimented...otherwise, she won't listen to ideas.

You might be able to get along with Ramona if you quit being so fake and stop talking behind her back. Just a thought.
