I loved taking Michael to Seattle to have him internship with my "team". When he initially got there, he said "how long are we working for today?" When I said 8 hours, he asked what he was going to do for 8 hours. I had my associates set him up in his own work station, and away he went. When it was time to leave the office at 6pm, he said he wasn't ready yet. This proved to me that all of a sudden the "work" that he was doing had turned into something he liked doing? Isn't that what we all strive for? To find a career that isn't a grind, or feel like "work", but one that you can truly enjoy? Now that www.vickigunvalson.com has launched this year with a new online quoting engine for life insurance and offering term life insurance in less than 15 minutes, it has been amazing to see how I am able to transform this business to new technology.
If Mike decides to settle down in Seattle for his internship or for his career, I will be fine with that. He actually has lived away from home for the past 4 years, so it will just allow me another place to go visit. Seattle is a beautiful city, and I know my team out there will take good care of him.
