Here's What Happened When Gina Kirschenheiter Brought Travis Home to Long Island
While visiting her hometown, the RHOC cast member and her boyfriend stopped by her high school, saw the house she grew up in, and ate "the best bagel in the world."
When Gina Kirschenheiter recently arrived in her hometown for a visit, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member was ready to give her boyfriend, Travis Mullen, her version of "the Long Island tour." Of course, there was one important way Gina wanted to start the day.
"First stop: bagels," she said before they headed to Wally's Bagels in North Babylon, which is "still [her favorite.]" While Travis said his bagel was "good," Gina felt much more passionately about her breakfast. "This is the best bagel in the world, actually," she quipped. Gina also showed Travis the Olympic diner, which is her "favorite," and they later grabbed a bite to eat at Italian eatery Pizzaiola. For a "bomb brunch," they headed to The Shed restaurant in Huntington and also enjoyed a group dinner at Robke's Northport.
During their visit, Gina also showed Travis some meaningful places from her past, such as her childhood home ("a great house to grow up in"), her elementary school, middle school, and high school. Although their trip was just a few days long, Travis even had time to get a "fresh East Coast cut" from a local barbershop, Ace Of Cuts.
Gina shared a sweet selfie from their time on the East Coast in a March 23 Instagram post. "Had the best time on Long Island with [Travis]," she wrote. "Loved taking you home and sharing my upbringing with you!"
