Ariana Madix & Katie Maloney’s Finished Sandwich Shop Is Seriously Stunning: See Inside
The Vanderpump Rules business partners recently shared a look around Something About Her.
On Season 10 Episode 12 of Vanderpump Rules that aired on April 26, viewers got a sneak peek inside Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix’s sandwich shop, Something About Her, in its beginning stages. While Ariana noted she could see “so many possibilities” for the space, Katie gushed about how the restaurant was already looking “so cute.”
“It’s so exciting just to be here and look around and see how much potential this space has,” Katie noted during a confessional, adding, “We’re gonna have a sandwich empire… and it all starts now!”
When Lisa Vanderpump came by to check in, the ladies sat down to discuss their aesthetic vision, telling the restaurateur how they wanted to “really grab people” visually while also providing an ideal ambience for customers.
“I want it to feel cozy and inviting [so] people want to hang out here,” Katie said.
It seems the ladies have definitely hit the nail on the head with the aforementioned vibes considering what new evidence we have of the West Hollywood sandwich spot. Scroll down for a special peek:
Kristina Kelly shares a video of the inside of Something About Her
On June 12, fans got a special treat from Katie’s good friend (and fellow former SURver) Kristina Kelly, who, while enjoying a night out with the girls, took a video of the inside of the place after Katie let the ladies have a little look around.
“Cozy and inviting” is definitely how we would sum up the mood of the place, which features a sage green and cream aesthetic with lightly built-out features on the walls and quirky-chic artwork.
The comfortable-looking benches have sage green and gray pillows with different patterns in front of beige tables. Other unique elements include Victorian-style wall sconces and a gray-and-white presumed pick-up/ordering area with gold accents.
When does Something About Her open?
On the May 31 episode of the So Bad It’s Good with Ryan Bailey podcast, Katie revealed when Something About Her would be ready for customers.
“We were hoping by, like, end of May, but you know, in the nature of these things and starting a restaurant, there’s always gonna be things,” Katie shared. “Our design and build-out and everything is gonna be finished by the end of May, so we’re not wrong about one of the things. We are gonna be open this summer… I’m hesitant to give a more specific time because the last thing I want to do is [have] people like, ‘You said…’”
She added: “There [are] so many moving parts, and there [are] so many things that need to happen that sometimes ultimately aren’t really up to you, [like] when things can get approved… It’s just there’s a lot that goes into it. But yeah, it’s gonna be this summer, and we are really excited.”
