Tom Sandoval Shares His Dirty "Quarantini" Recipe Made with 4 Simple Ingredients

The Vanderpump Rules star is teaching homebound viewers how to make unique cocktails with a handful of household food items.

As people around the world are homebound due to coronavirus (COVID-19), Tom Sandoval wants to help those self-isolating get creative with their cocktails. In the video above, recorded for Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,  Tom shares his easy "quarantini" recipe, which calls for just a few simple ingredients.

How to Watch

After washing his hands, the Vanderpump Rules bartender and Tom Tom junior partner got to work on the drink, which requires vodka, pickle juice, olives, and olive juice.

Noting that not everyone at home may have a drink shaker on hand, Tom held up an empty plastic water bottle, explaining that it would work just as well.

In fact, Tom used the bottle's indented lines as a measuring tool. He started by pouring vodka, adding pickle juice, and finally olive juice before placing the cap back on the bottle and shaking it well. Once he poured the drink into a glass, Tom added a toothpick with a few olives to the beverage.

In case the "quarantini" isn't for everyone, Tom shared another unique drink recipe that can be made with just a few staple condiments. The "Bloody Desperate" from his cocktail recipe book with Ariana Madix calls for a mix of vodka, water, packets of ketchup, and Tapatío hot sauce (or, as Tom suggested, Cholula as an alternative), an optional few drops of Tabasco hot sauce, and a bit of pepper. Amid the pandemic, Tom took a moment to highlight the importance of sanitizing any condiment packaging before use.

The global health crisis has caused Tom and Tom Schwartz to temporarily close the doors of Tom Tom. To help support their staff, who are currently out of work as a result, the pair are creating videos for sale on Cameo, a website that allows celebrities to interact with users via video. As Sandoval explained in an Instagram post, "[Schwartz] and I are donating 100% of our earnings from cameo to our TomTom Staff & matching the amount up to $10,000!"

Scheana Shay applauded her friends' incredible gesture during a recent interview with BravoTV.com, raving: "I think that it's really great that while the restaurants are closed, they are being proactive for their staff."
