This Is Exactly What Jax Taylor Eats Every Day on His Pre-Wedding Diet

The Vanderpump Rules pal has come a long way from the days of eating Doritos on the couch. 

Jax Taylor vowed to get in fighting shape — or "Season 1 Jax" shape, to put it in terms loyal Vanderpump Rules fans will appreciate — and he's there! Determined to be in great shape for his upcoming wedding to Brittany Cartwright, the SURver has recently shed more than 40 pounds. So clearly, he can't be indulging his Taco Bell cravings every day, right? 

Right! The groom-to-be recently spoke to Men's Health about his physical transformation, and laid out in detail what he eats on a daily basis. On his previous, not-so-healthy eating habits, Jax shared: "I was eating more crap than I was working out. Postmates came out. I can order Doritos from my couch? Making a Murderer marathon is on? I'm not getting off of this couch. I'm going to eat everything in sight. Then you wake up and you're like, ‘What is that?’ That's my belly."

That was then, though, and this is now. These days, Jax starts his day with a bowl of oatmeal topped with protein powder. He has three more nutrition shakes throughout the day, along with Juice Plus capsules. A typical lunch is chicken with brown rice, while for dinner he has chicken or steak. Jax also limits his alcohol to "two sips."  

Brittany has nothing but praise for her future hubby's dedication. "We diet together and we have amazing cheat meals together," she said. And yes, yes, they do! Who can resist a sweet date night at Dylan's Candy Bar?
