On a recent trip to the grocery store, Andy Cohen struck out in the beverage aisle. The Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host was disappointed in what he found — or rather, didn't find — and he turned to Instagram Stories to have a little vent session with his followers.
With shelves of soda bottles as his backdrop, Andy had this to say: "There is once again a Fresca shortage in Manhattan, and I don't f--king get it," he said. "I don't get it! Like, get on it, Fresca!" After all, let's not forget that the citrus-y soda is an essential at Andy's home bar.
In the past, the talk-show host has been open about his love of a mixed drink that requires the soda. Back in 2012, Andy tweeted: "A #Fresquila is Fresca & Tequila. Awesome & diet-ish." And when he gave Delish a tour of his gold-tiled bar back in 2017, he was quick to endorse the Fresquila again.
"It's my favorite!" he said then. "All you do is take a little Fresca, and a little tequila — maybe more than a little — cheers! It's so easy. Doesn't even need a garnish." But alas, it does need Fresca. Better luck next time, Andy.
