Is Ariana Madix Still with Daniel Wai? See Her Revealing Birthday Message
Ariana Madix just gave an update on where she stands in her romance with Daniel Wai.
Following her breakup from Tom Sandoval in March 2023, Ariana Madix found love while attending a friend's wedding in Mexico.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member has been dating Daniel Wai for quite a while now, and the trainer has even popped up on Season 11 a few times, including during the cast's trip to San Francisco in the final two episodes. Some of her castmates may have questions about her romance with Daniel, but Ariana just fired back at her critics by confirming that the two are going strong with a sweet Instagram message for Daniel in honor of his birthday on May 5.
"Happy birthday to the most handsome man I know who always lets me have the first and last bite," she wrote in the caption of the post for the Taurus, which featured a photo of the two posing nose to nose.
In the comments section of the post, Daniel responded to his girlfriend of more than a year.
"Thank you so much," he replied. "Best year ever!!"
When did Ariana Madix meet Daniel Wai?
Ariana met Daniel in March 2023 at a friend's wedding in Mexico, less than two weeks after her split from Tom Sandoval. Though Daniel and Ariana met in March 2023, they did not begin dating right away.
About a month later, the two were spotted together at Coachella in April 2023, but Ariana still didn't confirm the romance.

"Love him," she said.
After sharing a series of snapshots with Daniel on her Instagram feed, Ariana confirmed their romance during an episode of WWHL in the spring.
"I’ll just say that I am very happy and very satisfied,” she teased.

Where do Ariana Madix and Daniel Wai live?
The former SUR bartender is based in Los Angeles, while Daniel owns a gym on the Lower East Side in New York City.
Though Daniel and Ariana live on different coasts, the two manage to spend a lot of time together.
In early June 2023, Daniel surprised Ariana with an epic birthday celebration in New York, along with her best friend, Brad. On her actual 39th birthday on June 24, Daniel flew to Los Angeles to celebrate with Ariana and her friends. Daniel was also a frequent fixture in the audience when Ariana took on Dancing with the Stars.
Ariana briefly moved to New York in early 2024 for her role in Chicago on Broadway. Daniel was present for her opening night on January 29.
During the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Ariana opened up about how she and Daniel make their long-distance relationship work.
"We just enjoy each other's company a lot, and it's been really nice," Ariana said, which you can check out in the video below.
At the moment, Ariana is content with dividing her time between Los Angeles and New York (especially with a second run on Chicago coming up), but she would be open to living in the same place with her beau in the future.
"I've always liked the idea of being kind of more bicoastal. When I first moved [to Los Angeles], that was kind of the idea," she said in the After Show. "But, I guess, for me, it just depends [on] where is the work taking me, and then just see what happens from there."
