Go Inside Ariana Madix and Scheana Shay’s “Amazing” Coachella 2023 Weekend (PICS)
Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix says she’s “thriving” and feeling “amazing” while hanging with her BFF Scheana.
Ariana Madix wants fans to know she’s living her best life.
More than a month after her breakup was announced, the Florida native returned to Indio, California, to attend Coachella’s opening weekend with friends and her Vanderpump Rules bestie Scheana Shay. In between her Day 1 (April 14) events, Ariana took some time to film a TikTok video with influencer/media figure Farai Bennett, who asked her how she was holding up during all her life changes.
“Guys, I’m here with Ariana. How are you feeling, girlie?” he began the video, which was also reported by E! News. The video included the caption, “Ariana wellness check.”
“Amazing!” Ariana enthusiastically responded, before confirming she was “thriving.”
“Guys, don’t wish her well, she’s doing amazing,” Farai told viewers, while Ariana wrapped her arms around him and gave him an air kiss. “What doesn’t kill her, they better run!”
“F--k yeah!” she added with a laugh.
As in previous years, the former SUR bartender took to Instagram to document her fun-filled Coachella weekend. She shared photos and videos of various promotional parties, Bad Bunny’s Friday-night headlining performance, and of course, her head-turning fashion moments, which included an all-white Western-inspired getup as well as a playful tie-dye ensemble that showed off her abs.
On Day 2, Ariana expanded her collection of body art with a small piece by celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy. She posted a video in which she was seen lying on a client chair while JonBoy inked her forearm with a tiny alien head. The tattoo service was part of Coachella’s Camp Poosh, a summer camp–inspired event hosted by Kourtney Kardashian’s lifestyle brand.
Despite her highly publicized breakup, Ariana has appeared to be in good spirits in recent weeks, as she continues to occupy her time with work and play. She is currently preparing for a role in a Lifetime movie, recently secured a gig with Bloomingdale’s, and is gearing up to launch Something About Her — the much-anticipated sandwich shop with her Vanderpump Rules castmate Katie Maloney.
Weeks after her split was confirmed, Ariana took to Instagram to reflect on her heartache and the support she’s received from fans and friends, including her longtime pal, Scheana, who was also by her side over the course of the weekend at Coachella.
The “Good as Gold” singer took fans inside her Coachella experience with her husband, Brock Davies. In addition to posting all her outfit changes, Scheana shared videos of herself and Brock enjoying the pool, dancing on the fairgrounds, and meeting fans. She spoke about the annual music event during a recent interview with E! News, saying it wouldn’t be the same without Ariana.
“Every Coachella I have been to has been with Ariana,” Scheana told the outlet recently. “One time we had to go Weekend 2, which nobody wants to go Weekend 2, but one of us was on Watch What Happens Live [with Andy Cohen] the first weekend and couldn’t go, so we did Weekend 2. She is my Coachella!”
