Actions – or rather, reactions – speak louder than words… if you’re swiping on Tinder, anyway.
The ever-popular dating app just launched “Tinder Reactions” today. This exclusive new feature offers animated responses, to be used within messaging, instead of text replies. So, if that guy you swiped right on says something offensive: immediately throw a virtual martini in his face. (Without wasting a delicious sip.)
Other reactions within the messaging system include an eye roll, a tennis ball (ahem, the ball’s in your court), and hearts – but some are only available to the female population. Each market will have different Reactions available for use, and more are set to debut within upcoming months.
In conjunction with the update, comedian Whitney Cummings has been named Tinder’s Douchebag Expert. In her new, self-appointed role, the actress is featured in a “Menprovement” video series, which aims to give women the tools to fight douchiness and poke fun at it, too. Guys, you can probably learn a thing or two by tuning in, as well.
Here’s to avoiding creepers, throwing cocktails, and (hopefully) finding love.
