Is Tom Checketts' Food Worth All the Drama? Aesha Scott Sets the Record Straight
The Below Deck Mediterranean stewardess shared her honest opinion of the new chef's cooking.
In the grand tradition of Below Deck Mediterranean chefs, Tom Checketts brings big flavor — and big feelings — to the galley. Though he's a relative newcomer to The Wellington crew, the English foodie has already demonstrated his emotional ties to his work.... more than once.
But after viewers witnessed the big cucumber incident on a recent episode (catch up in the clip above), Aesha Scott was pressed to answer a delicate question. When the second stew appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen after the incident aired, a certain Shady Cucumber had to ask: "Rate Tom's cooking on a scale from one to 10. Is his food worth the drama?"
Echoing a sentiment Bugsy Drake had shared on an earlier episode of WWHL, Aesha said: "To be honest, I'd give it a 10 — he's got really good food." And even when Andy pressed, asking again whether Tom's food was worth the drama, Aesha stood firm in her stance.
"Yes," she said. "Every chef is a drama queen."
