Here’s What Chef Dave White Looks Like with Long Hair
The Below Deck Mediterranean chef, who has been shaving his head since his teenage years, has “always wanted long hair.”
As we’ve seen across shows on the Below Deck franchise, when there’s a themed dinner during the charter season, the crew tends to go all out on decor, activities, and costumes. The most recent example: Below Deck Mediterranean’s September 12 episode, during which, as you can see in the preview clip above, the Home crew rocked wigs as part of a fun-filled night for the guests. While everyone seemed to get very into the theme, chef Dave White was particularly excited about his temporary new hairstyle.
“I've always wanted long hair,” he said with a grin as he tried on his wig. In an interview, he explained, “I’ve got a lot of surfer-dude mates, and I’m always so jealous of their hair.”
“Growing up, I actually had hair. Yeah, it just went,” he continued as the clip showed his childhood photos (below). “I starting shaving my head when I was, like, 16. I did try and grow it back a few times, but then all that was left was like the fringe, you know?”
